I am pc ignorant...Theres no way we can password protect the map so new peeps would have to get the pword to change?

nope. Guess map is dead! Only thing could be done would be to start a new map and have people start all over BUT... if open to anyone to edit - same thing could happen again. *sigh* It looked so nice seeing all the vapers - I'm heartbroken the map was ruined while we were busting our butts putting on Vapestock for the community. What a shame! I loved the idea of this map and the ability to see who lives near me. If we ever find this mark person, we should drop him in the middle of the ocean like he did to our dots! After all, the punishment should fit the crime.

It was an open map. I could either have added all dots myself with people pm'ing or left open for folks to add themselves. No way to allow folks to add dots themselves if it wasn't open. I'm pissed and sad but....nothing much can do about it now

Figures that the day I add my marker, some idiot comes in and spoils it for us all. I would offer to take on the PM's with info and marker creator responsibility since I have far too much time on my hands, but I can understand that I have just signed up and nobody but Charliegirl knows me personally. Is there anyone in the Florida forums that has a good reputation and willing to take on this endeavor? I really thought the map was cool and intended to PM some of the guys and gals nearby for me and CG to meet someday. Vaping not only helps me not smoke cigs all day, it's also a fun hobby.

It was very cool, there were two vapers in my neighborhood, I was planning on contacting them, thanks to some random a-hole that info is now gone.

I seem to be the only one with this problem but there is no "EDIT" button above. Yes I am signed in to both ECF and Google. Really it's not there!

EDIT: OK now I see the problem. I only read the first page of the thread.
