How-to: Add images / videos

You have some options should you choose to add images or videos in your post.
The below icons are visible in the quick reply box, with the exception of the Attachment icon which is seen in "advanced reply"

InsIMG.png select this if you want to insert an image that is on the web
video.pngselect this if you want a video embedded into your post
Attach.pngselect this if you want to attach a file

InsIMG.png by selecting this a pop up window asking for the url of the image you would like to insert will appear.
After pasting the url the image would be posted like so

video.png This goes for video embedding as well.

In order for members to view the video with in the post you HAVE to click on this icon:

with out using the icon:

Attach.pngThis is a little trickier and you have multiple ways of handling this.

( Edit note: This can not be done in PMs, there is no icon offered )


When you click on this icon a new window will open:


A> you can upload an image/file from either your computer or from a website
or if you have an image/file already uploaded (B) you can just drag down to (C)

after you have selected all of the images/files that you want to attach you can either

click "insert inline" this will place all of your attachments with in your post instantly

or click done and select files individually to insert into post


OR leave alone and all files will be in the attachment area under your post
