How to... Create a social forum

If you wish to create a social forum, perhaps based on where you live, or common interests you are welcome to do so.

To do this, you must first create a social group by going to your User CP, clicking "social groups", then at the bottom of the page, click "Create a new group".

Once this is done, you will be able to create the social forum from the options within the social group.

I tried to create a South African social forum, I don't know where it went? Can it be put in national forums?

Gavin, if you go up to Quick Links then click on Social Groups, you will see it listed. However, I don't think it shows up in the social groups general forum until you have 5 members.

Maybe you should start a thread asking if there are any other members in your area on the forum.

That's right, you need five members at least and then you can make a forum for your group (it doesn't automatically happen, you have to click a button).

OK, I've finally got 5 members, added the group to forums, and it appears under social forums, now how do I get it to national forums? South Africa is after all a nation
