Twitter transformed for me when I realised I could run clients on my PC/Mac to follow tweets. Then it became more like an MSN/AIM chat client, but more public! I also now think of it like a mini forum for me, my friends, colleagues and acquaintances. I don't care about the whole 'celeb' twitter thing, but I do like another way to be keep in touch with folks I know and care about - especially when travelling on business. It's wierd sitting in India reading the tweets of all my mates back in the UK!  |
