I am having a problem getting my profile picture to show when I post. Testing. What am I doing wrong? It shows in my profile but not when I post. Do you have to have a certain number of posts?

Profile picture is the pic in the profile. You need to make a avator picture.
Go to your profile and on the left in the control panel is a place to make the avator.

I case you do not understand. Go to profile and on the left is the letters CP.
Click that and go down the list to the avator edit. Click that and make your avator.

Don't click on profile pict. Click on Avatar.
