OK - we're on the new server now. This server has 4 times the processing power of the old one, so I'm hoping that raw power alone will overcome the server busy messages.

That said, we have not optimised the server yet - that will happen over the next couple of weeks, but I hope that won't be an issue.

Please let me know (in this thread, preferably) if you do experience the busy message!

Just so you know... forum traffic may be a bit light.

One of the reasons is... if people go here:

New server

they can't actually get to the forum!

Still no home page. DNS pointer issue?

I have a small problem that came up before the change. Below where my Avatar is supposed to be it says tweet this. I never set it up to tweet and my profile still doesn't reflect that. Don't even have a Twitter account.

Can't seem to get rid of it.

BTW: I say it's a pointer issue because it works without the WWW, more or less.

Something else is still up.. and it has driven me nuts!

I have crafted a couple of long replies to messages.. and when I hit submit I am simply dumped here:

Doesn't matter if I use the quick reply.. or advanced. Same result.

Haven't seen anybody else complain about this yet.... but.... grrrr.....

Thanks for that sticky about the ECF chat room. I've seen a lot of posts wondering what happened. Sure hope you can get it back (or find an alternative).

Any time I'm tempted to complain I just kick back, switch to the 36 mg, and have myself a nice long vape, maybe blow some vapor rings, and see my troubles drift away on a gentle cloud of vapor.

It works great, and I find I get fewer infractions!
