| Leaford has made me laugh with "dammit Janet" . I am a RHPS virgin. I've only seen it on TV. Would love to go to a live showing with a fellow e-smoker and smoke our peace pipes during the show. Gotta find one though. Most of my friends and family do not smoke and the ones that do make fun of my e-cig. I am kind of afraid to go to one of these things though. Anything scary happen to any of you RHPS fans? |

| Hey Janet, I've got something to say Don't buy a ticket for the front rows, it's where all the hardcore fans sit and is awash with rice confetti, water pistols and gorillas in basques and suspenders. The audience constantly interrupt the proceedings with stock replies to nearly every line. If you want to join in the fun, check out Badmovies.org Audience Participation Guide for The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's huge fun. The only thing that might wreck the show is if the cast aren't hard as nails. It ain't easy to carry on working in the middle of all this chaos. Last time I saw it the Frank N Furter dude (David Bedella) lost it big time - threatened to have a particularly good heckler thrown out. Didn't stop the guy, and I doubt if the audience woulda stood it. enjoy Emp

| Emp, went to the link you so kindly provided. I had no idea! Now I'm really scared! And now I must study a script. Dammit. And I am not wearing underwear in public. Can you get away with just wearing regular clothes? Are there any different "rules" for those of us in the USA? |

| Hey Janet so you don't wear underwear in public, huh? Top banana! (my avatar has exactly the right look on his face right now) All of this stuff is just for the front rows. Believe me, they're half the show. Balcony seat or rear stalls are perfectly safe viewing areas. I put the link in just so you'd know what was going on - it's all optional participation and there'll be enough people joining in that you won't feel out of place just watching. Emp

| Emp, in the US, it's the actual Rocky Horror PICTURE Show. The movie. With Tim Currey, Susan Sarandon, Meatloaf, and all. No live cast, no balconies, just crappy small screen movie house seating. Janet, don't worry, you won't be expected to dress up or know the lines. You're still a virgin. ![]()

| Hey everybody, I added an avatar! It is a real person, but it's not me - is that still considered an Avatar? Also, I found a place that does live performances in my area. I read a little of their forum, and it seems like a lot of high school kids. I will be disappointed if I'm the oldest one there. Gotta find someone to drag along with me. |
