Are 510 auto batts decent?
I have the manuel which I love but I also want to get an auto batt but have heard they are touchy and a pain in the butt.
How would you rate them on general performance, flavor, TH, vapor?

I have autos in both 510 and eGo and like them Better than manuals. They have a more realistic smoking feel to them.
The down side is that you should not drip with them. But I use cartos 100% of the time so that is not an issue for me.

Auto-batteries definately require a technique to be successful using them. I started with autos, but, to me, you just have to stroke them to much. Push the button, inhale and exhale just seems simpler.

I don't know how the 510 auto batts are in particular, but I do have auto batt experience. They seem to be fine as long as you are not using them in a windy or noisy environment. They will turn on from noises and wind.

they're rumored to be touchy to noise yeah...
just wanted to say another option is also a 306 auto battery which fit the 510 and are easier to find..
in fact RMV up there in Mi carries them...

I know this thread is a little old, but..... just an FYI for those that see this.
I have both auto and manual 510 batts and the automatics at MadVapes .COM (at least the ones I have) are stated to have a flow switch and not a microphone switch that makes the standard 510 auto a PITA. They (the flow switch ones at madvapes) work fine for me.
