A Vaping Dilemma

Ok, so I'll just apologize in advance for this rambling post :P

As anyone who has ordered from DIY Flavor Shack knows; Dawn, the owner is a downright sweetheart. She's the kind of person you feel like you want to get to know better because she is just so nice. So, I was thrilled when the 6 sample juice pack arrived in the mail. Typical of Dawn's generosity she had added two additional free samples to the mix. I'm tellin' ya the woman is a vaping angel!

So, back to those juices, When they arrived I had only one clean cartomizer available, crap! So, I did the only sane thing a vaper can do. I took off all of the caps and lined all of those pretty little bottles up. The delicious aromas immediately began wafting up and I began my sniff inspection. Amaretto latte - YUM! Caramel vanilla RY4 - YUM + YUM! Hazlenut coffe - YUMMY!

Gooey Buttercake - HOT DAMN HOLY CRAP!!! How the hell did she do that? I mean it it was like I was holding the damn mixing bowl in my hands. That aroma so specific to a buttery cake mix, the faint yeasty, buttery, vanilla aroma; holy crap how did she get that scent so perfectly into a bottle? I didn't want to vape this I wanted to pour it into a bowl and use my fingers to lick it out like I had with real cake batter when I was a kid! I think my eyes must have rolled back in my head because when I came floating back down to reality I noted that my 16-year old son was in the room giving me a look that said, "she's finally lost it; the old bag has gone around the bend." He promptly cocked an eyebrow; in the way that only a teenager can, turned around and left the room without a word.

MEH! Teenagers! Dang him, I still had more sniffing to do! Cafe latte - YUM! Gooey cinnamon - YUMMO! Amaretto - HOT DAMN HOLY CRAP she'd done it again!! I love amaretto but I've been sorely dissappointed by the amaretto flavors I'd received from other vendors. When I picked it this time, I have to be honest my expectations were pretty low, but hope springs eternal and I decided to give it another shot. Boy howdy I am so glad that I did. This smells exactly like what I was expecting. If it vapes half as good as it smells I'll be in vaper nirvana!

Now, I had a problem and it was a doozy! Two juices one cartomizer, two juices one cartomizer!?! What the crap was I to do??? I sat sniffing alternating between the Amaretto and the Gooey Buttercake. Sniff one then the other, rinse and repeat. I can only imagine what this must have looked like because as I sat there pondering which one was going to be the winner I realized The Teenager was back, staring at me. The jerk was shaking with suppressed laughter. As soon as my eyes met his that suppressed laughter erupted out of him. Of course I shot him the Mommy look. Which by the way had absolutely no effect what so ever, other than to make him laugh harder. I continued to glare at him (what can I say it made me feel better.) When he finally got control of himself of course he had to rub it in, "Mom, you're so weird!" Opting for maturity I decided that ignoring and pretending The Teenager wasn't there was the only good option and went back to sniffing.

So here I sit staring at the two little bottles and one little cartomizer. I'm quite positive that I can't tell the difference in the smells anymore because I've sniffed them to much What to do, what to do?

Please tell me I'm not the only weirdo!!! Does this happen to any other vapers out there???

That's one heck of a nice dilemma to have!

Now don't shoot me, but: I have a huge supply of blank cartos on hand. (I like my doggone cartos!) So my only dilemma in such situations is: Which color carto? And which color drip tip?

Dang teenagers.. I have a husband that does the same thing to me! I also laid in a big supply of cartos for that very reason!

Haha great story! It sounds like something I would do if hubby wasn't in charge of the cartos. With him buying them, we always have something like 50-100 on hand though.

Oh, I have most definitely learned my lesson. Next pay day I'm buying fifty of those bad boys to keep on hand! No, more messing around with this one carto nonsense

I get stuck the same way too sometimes. That's why I started using tiny little stickers I put on my cartos. At least I'm not color blind.
