    Default Flavor Extracts?

I am sure this has been posted before, but my searches did not turn up anything. Has anyone ever used regular flavor extracts to flavor their e-juice? I am trying to find a local supplier of flavored oil, like LorAnn. So far, I have only been able to find one supplier, and they only sell a 4 pack of non LorAnn flavored oils, and two of the flavors are butter and lemon. I was wondering if there might be some way to use flavor extracts, like vanilla extract, to flavor e-juice.

This question comes up frequently in the DIY E-Liquid Forum. I tried using McCormick's vanilla when I first got into DIY, but it isn't strong enough and it's has about 40% alcohol. What you need are super concentrated flavorings. I can find Lorann's at Walmart, a couple of local pharmacies, Hobby Lobby, and I'm sure a few other places I haven't found yet. If you post in the DIY forum you may find someone in your area that can give you some local info on who has what you're looking for.

What I'd like to know is how they make super concentrated flavors to begin with. Do you have to be a chemist to do it? I know I've seen how to articles on making your vanilla extract.

Also as a "rule of thumb" you don't want "oils" you would prefer to get water soluble concentrates. *I* would certainly steer away from "butter flavored oils"

I just went and looked at the Pure Vanilla Extract that I have in my cabinet and it contains 35% alcohol.
