Default one stop diy shop questions

let me start by stating that i am looking to venture into juice diy-ing and have a very limited budget to work with and have been looking at starting with a "diy kit" and so far it seems like one stop diy shop has one of the better kits.

The DIY Flavor Artisan's Master Kit - One Stop DIY Shop Store

this is the one i am currently looking at purchasing to get started with.

what are your thoughts, should this at least be ok?

anyone have any experience with this company?

sorry for the noobishness but i really can not afford to "shoot myself in the foot" with a bad purchase

This is just my opinion but kits come with a bunch of stuff you really don't need when you first get started in DIY. I think you're better off just piecing together the few things you need to start mixing with and spending the extra $$$ on more flavorings or nic juice. Here's what I'd suggest:

a couple of syringes in 2 ml and 10 ml
needles in about 16 or 18 guage
    PG and/or VG
    empty bottles
nic juice in 36 or 48 mg
    flavorings

There's a similar thread here, Standard "Getting Started" Thread...with a twist.
Hardware: Tesla, Silver Bullet @ 3.7v, Omega @ 3.7v, Maxi Roughstack @ 3.7v & 6v, a pile of 3.7v boxmods, VV boxmod. I'm a diehard, old school dripper. There aren't many of us left anymore, too bad because that's how you get the cleanest, tastiest vape.

i agree with cskent. i looked at that starter kit too and it was just too much unnessesary stuff. i had syringes, needles and recycled my empty bottles. i ordered 125ml 24mg nic liquid, 125ml vg, and some flavors for under $30. so got 250ml of 12mg juice for the price of 2 30ml bottles of premix, it takes a little practice but getting better at it. good luck

It's my go-to place for the BEST nic I've found around.

Customer service is top-notch. Kimberly-AKA Kimmerpuff called me on the telephone on a Saturday before my first order (DIY Flavor Apprentice Starter Kit) shipped, because I was unsure as to the type of base that I should use. She held my hand and guided me through the process, doubled my flavor sizes-free, added little gifts and was generally just a huge help. Customer service like this would change the world for the better.

As for the kit, it is quite alot of stuff for a beginner, but will cover all the bases for you to get your feet wet in mixing. Just make sure you wash-off immediately after your feet get wet hehe lol!
