About that chemical like taste you refer to. I have tried several flavors from different vendors that have what i call a plastic taste. To me it tastes just like a rinsed out plastic milk jug smells like. Is that what you're tasting?
(i typo'd and corrected but i accidently typed milf jug... lol, just had to share that one.)

LMAO
I'm not sure if the chemical taste/smell was exactly a plastic one. It was almost a solvent aroma. ::shudders::
Did you get much vapor production from the ones you found to have the plastic taste?

A buddy sent me a 6mg/15ml sample of RY5 / double flavor... from GV... and I must say - I love it. Tastes like the cookie batter from one of my mothers x-mas cookies... It's got flavor... good flavor... Not sure how I get xmas cookie batter flavor... caramel, hazelnut* and tobacco... but good nonetheless. I will likely order it when my sample runs out.

I'm at least happy to hear that some of their juice is good. What I found by reading reviews here and on other sites is that it seems to be very hit and miss. One reviewer stated theirs had a big loss of flavor after a few weeks.
Does anyone know if certain flavorings simply die out faster than others?
Edit: Thanks for suggesting Boba's a while back--my hubby loves it, and I find myself drawn to it like a tractor beam, unable to put a finger on the precise flavors. It haunts me lol.

The vapor wasn't too bad, never really had any problems with vapor production on anything i've tried. It's just that weird taste. I would estimate about 10%-20% out of maybe 50-60 different juices i've tried from different suppliers have that plasticky taste. Maybe what i think tastes like plastic tastes like solvent to you. Since i've never really tasted a solvent

I bought from GV several weeks back. I liked the idea of creating my own flavors so thats why I gave it a try. I feel similar to the OP. The maple flavor didnt taste like maple at all. I created a pecan pie flavor and it was equally bland. The only one with a half decent flavor was a fruit mixture I created. I will not be buying from them anymore sad to say.
