I agree with you Beet. The batch of menthol ice I ordered had no flavor either. Very pretty blue bottle and very thick juice. I add some menthol drops so I can at least taste some menthol. I was very disappointed after reading all the reviews on how great the juice is. I am a menthol die hard and I just don't see that in this juice. Maybe it is a bad batch who knows.

You may have gotten a bad batch... but as most of have said it is a clean fresh taste. It is not that hard in your face menthol minty taste that a lot of cheap juices offer. The menthol is mild with a complexity of other flavors that give it it's own unique taste, otherwise it would just be another cheap juice that can be found any where.

It had to be a bad batch then. I say this because there was no fresh taste, there was no taste at all. There was no menthol feeling an as for a complexity of other flavors it was simply the pepper taste of the menthol. I'm thinking that what I got was unflavored liquid in a pretty blue bottle.

Has anyone else noticed that the vapor of Harley & Freedom stinks something fierce? My fam has remarked on this several times and the other day I noticed it in the car...Very bitter sourdough type smell which is weird because there isn't any of that taste in either of them.

I really want to like Halo juices as it is US made and uses very pure ingredients, but Im not a menthol fan and their other flavors I have tried (Harley, Smooth, Freedom) all have an underlying 'weirdness' that will make me not order them again. I still like the Harley for an occaisional vape, but the 30ml bottle will last for a long time. I hope they have some new juices in the works and will begin offering sampler sizes, but for now nHaler has my business for e-juice.

Identify the taste both from the bottle and vapping it. If it's not as what I, or others, have described, then it's definately a bad batch. Like for example, I used to order from Strickly E juice and I got a bad taste. I called them up and returned it and got a replacement being the same bad tasting item again, thus their items being bad liquid.

However, for halo I'm very certain you got a bad batch if you hadn't done the "Test" on it. I smelled my bottle, vapping it, and even tasted a small liquid making sure it's pure to its content.

I'm not sure what the other flavors taste like but the Harley tastes like maple tabacco with sweet signature to it. There's nothing stinky about it.

I must be missing something here. I hate to say it but I'd been reading about how great the Halo juices were for Menthol vapes so I bought a 30 ml bottle of Cool and a 30 ml bottle of Nupure. It may just be the bottles I got but there was NO flavor at all. No menthol, no mint, the only thing I can taste with either of them is the Pepper taste of the nicotine. I'm not one to be wasteful so I just cut them a bit and added some Wintergreen (Artificial) Lorann drops to them and now I have a nice Wintergreen vape, but I doubt I will be ordering from Halo again. Was a bit expensive for unflavored e-liquid when I wanted a cooling menthol vape. Ohh well. Sounds like most everyone else is enjoying theirs, my batch must have been messed up because I did not have the experience that you guys did.

Your batch was not messed up because I got the exact same thing you got! No menthol taste at all, no throat hit at all and definately no cooling flavor although the smell did remind me ever so slightly of vicks vapor rub.

I do see a trend here though, I unlike most admittingly on this thread was a long long time menthol smoker, were not crazy about menthol but they like Halo menthol.....hmmmm.....yet as a long time menthol smoker I can tell you Halo Newpure and Halo Cool that i bought does not taste like menthol. Oh well, $50 down the drain.

I started vaping with 18mg menthol juice (Dekang) with my first order. It's good...but the menthol was extra-strong. I then tried a bunch of stuff from V4L...espresso, cappucino, Red Cow (Red Bull), and a few others. I found a couple of "faves" out of V4L. Lastly, I heard lots of good stuff about Halo, so I got a 30ml of Halo Newpure 24mg (see a pattern yet?). At first I wanted to like it (the mild vanilla undertone was a welcome surprise), but then I noticed I was probably getting too much nic, and as the taste waned to just about nothing, I wasn't crazy about it. I bought a dram of VG from Hobby Lobby to try to cut down the nic level. Still wasn't crazy about it.

In the end, I started experimenting with mixing all of my little collection of juices, and I've come up with a couple of "recipes" that I can vape all day, taste great (IMHO), give really good vapor/TH, and not one clogged atty yet (but I think that's more a function of the 902 being awesome, not the juices themselves).

I use the Halo for my base, and add little bits here and there to bring extra "oomph" to the flavor, while still being a menthol base. Nowhere near the taste of an analog Newport, but that's okay. Vaping tastes much better than smoking!

Maybe I'll try out the Menthol Ice next. Or could it be I also got a bad batch of Newpure? Seems I ordered right before they removed that juice from the site...
