Kingpin KP Select & French Pipe

This is my first juice review so I will try not to blow it.

Kingpin states that they get the juice from DeKang so maybe this is a Dekang review?Both are PG. Anyway...

KP Select (14mg)- I like this one a lot. Been vaping on it a couple days and already ordered a 30ml bottle of it.
-Taste: Reminds me of a cross between Camel "Turkish Silver" and Dutch Halfzware Shag. We're talking the smell of the tobacco, not the smoke. Smooth warm tobacco flavor with some sweet undertones. Maybe a touch of sandalwood? Has some European heritage to the flavor.
-Vapor.: I get some pretty nice vapor from this when dripping with my 510. Thick and good size cloud.
-Throat Hit: I won't say that either of these juices "kick like a mule" because they are quite smooth for me. But that's not to say they they lack authority. It's a very present TH; firm but gentle. Like a velvet covered brick.

French Pipe (14mg)- A "comfort food" of a vape.
-Taste: Also a tobacco base but the sweetness is more prominent. I get hints of molasses & vanilla. The tobacco is there, but more in the background. Very relaxing vape. I like it but not as an all day vape. More of an evening wind down experience.
-Vapor: Not as much vapor as the KP select but still quite acceptable. Goes along with the "winding down" feel of this juice.
-Throat Hit: A bit less than the KP. I won't say that either of these juices "kick like a mule" because they are quite smooth for me. But that's not to say that they lack authority. It's a very present TH; firm but gentle. Like a velvet covered brick.

I like the KP Select as well...I bought a 5ml bottle to try. That is a pretty accurate description of it.

I now try not to vape it often around other non-smokers because my wife said that is the only juice that she can smell that I have tried.

What do you guys think about Kingpin's 510 Kit? I ordered mine last night before I realized that most of the more popular sites are selling the Branded JOYE 510 & now I'm a little worried that Kinpin's was so cheap because it's some hunk of junk.

To be honest, I've been trying to quit smoking for some time but I haven't found an e-cig that I'd prefer to vape, or at least would equally enjoy vaping, as an analog. I started with Red Dragon's terrible product, of which nearly every piece didn't work so I had to send it back, then jumped on the 901 train, which I enjoyed for the first few days but never really gave me the kind of throat hit to make me forget the analogs. Hoping the 510 does the trick, or at least gets me back into vaping enough that I can justify buying a GGTB and check out some 6.0V vaping!

I've got no problem mailing my package back if it doesn't do the trick, the problem is I don't know what to expect from a 510 so, in my mind, if it doesn't work, I'll probably think it's just more of the same. I was hoping somebody on here might know something about Kingpin so that if they don't put out a decent product I can go ahead & order a JOYE from Vapor King.

I found that Halo juice gives more TH but it's more expensive. It would also seem that higher nic content gives greater TH. My goal is to wean off nicotine entirely so I'm wathcing my TH slowly fade as I am down to 14mg juice now, but it's still not bad. I hope that helps you out.

That definitely helps, makes me feel a lot better! I just ordered a 5V PT for when I'm at the office where I'll plug it into a USB/Wall Charger because I think the PT I ordered from KP is not a 5V, so I'll just use it with my laptop from home. I really want to get back into it without spending a ton of cash, otherwise in my mind I might as well be smoking, so I'm trying to make sure I'm not dealing with low batteries all the time. It seems like all of the things that would be a problem for others (low battery charge, overused atomizers) are reasons I use to say that E-Cigs don't work and allow me to go back to smoking!

I saw you mention in your cig that you smoke a JOYE 510. Am I mistaken? Is that what Kingpin actually does sell?

It's not "branded" as Joye 510 but when I look at photos of the packaging of the Joye products (even the manual that comes with it) I can see no difference. I personally believe it to be THE Joye 510. FYI, I REALLY HIGHLY recommend picking up the PCC. It's $25.00 USD from kingpin and is absolutely worth the money. The 510 batts run out in like 90-120 minutes for me but just 1 charge on the PCC lets me recharge them all day. And the PCC is rechargeable via USB. I also picked up some 3ml bottles from Kingpin ($.49 each) and I find that the top of the label is about 3ml. If I really fill them all the way up the neck I can squeeze about an extra ml or so into it. That gives me 4ml for the day and I usually use only 2-3 ml. The thing is, the bottles are so small that I can carry two in the "5th pocket" of my jeans and not even notice them there. I need to bed down for the night now but happy vaping and good luck to ya!

Thanks for the help man. I've been using Awesome Vapor for my E-Liquid, but after reading so many of the reviews on here, I'm excited to try some others, especially Halo when they restock.

How is the Kingpin 510 holding up for you guys? I am on day 3 of mine and it is holding up well. The only gripe I have is the fact that I rcvd 5 carts of varying nic strengths whereas the website says you get 5 high Marlb flavor carts.. I sent David an email about this..
