TW Patriot KaMeL tastes a lot like Halo Smooth 8...

Hi all,

I finally decided to get a Tornado, and decided to try out the Patriot range while I was at it. As a Camel smoker for nearly 7 years, I've tried every single Camel e-liquid flavor that is on the market just hoping to replicate the experience of a Camel light. My package came today, and I was quite surprised to see that Patriot KaMeL tastes EXACTLY like Halo's Smooth 8. I say exactly because there is no difference.

So I loaded up both Tornados with Patriot KaMeL and Smooth 8, I mixed them so I couldn't tell which Tornado had what liquid in it. After vaping both devices dry, I still can't tell what Tornado had what in it. They taste exactly the same.

This makes a ton of sense to me. The Patriot Range is indeed made in the USA, just like Halo. Also, Halo seems to be out of stock on everything north of 6mg strength, so I can only assume that if Halo is making the Patriot range, this explains why they are out of stock on everything while they fill their orders with Totally Wicked. Lastly, I'm delighted to now know, provided that Halo is making the Patriot Range, that I can get my Halo fix in 36mg. I'll gladly pay $5 extra for 36mg.

If any of you can match up Halo's flavors with TW's Patriot Range, please post here. For the moment I'm assuming that TW's Ice Menthol is Halo's Menthol Ice, and that TW's N/Port Menthol is Halo's Newpure. If you know what M/Borough and Tobacco Americanno matches up to (either Harley or Freedom), please let me know. I'm tired of waiting for Halo to get Harley back in stock.

Oh, for extra proof, there is also a lot number on the back of my KaMeL bottle. The only other supplier that I know of that has lot numbers is Halo. No born on dating, however...

I ran out of halo harley, and just ordered TW patriot range tob-americano using the same logic as you, hoping it's the same as harley. I'll know when I get it...

I would think that Americano is Freedom just going off the names of the liquids.

And I don't think that Halo makes any juice. They have a manufacturer somewhere else probably. At least they get all of their ingredients from somewhere else and just mix. TW probably bought all of the stuff from their supplier which has led Halo to be out of stock of everything.

Of course that's just my uninformed conjecture.

Very good reasoning IMO. It's almost as if they're trying to become an e-cig monopoly. It's strange how they can have soooo many Tornado's on hand but Janty can only get a few eGO kits at a time. I'd be tempted to try that juice just to see if it is the same as Halo, but I refuse to buy from TW again.

Well, they're a pretty large player in the e-cig retail area and I'm sure they have a lot more cash to throw around than a startup like Halo. It's too bad too since they seem to love giving their customers the shaft. Just take a look at their subforum and you'll see what I mean.

I do think that Halo does manufacture their own liquids simply because they hired a chemist to develop the flavors and to oversee quality control.

I sure hope you're wrong. I got a sample bottle of freedom with my harley order from Halo. I can't stand the stuff (freedom). Tastes like an old cedar chest smells

OTOH, Harley is some good stuff; nice and clear, reasonably good flavor, and a good to great throat hit depending on bat power and atomizer freshness. I'm hoping TW americano is at least similar and NOTHING like halo freedom.

If anyone knows about the TH factor of Halo's unflavored juice, feel free to chime in. I care much less about "flavor" than about TH and nicotine content - which I'm convinced are related.

Quick update.

TW Tobacco Americano tastes exactly like HALO harley - only in 36mg strength. Same color and consistency as well. I'm LOVING this stuff.
