Nice review Mamu and Tex-Thanks
My pink atomizer replacement has an airy draw to it. I thought the atomizer might need to be worked in but today I tested it by wrapping a piece of saran wrap around where the battery and atomizer meet and the draw was much better. I am afraid of tampering with it because of the warranty so have settled for putting a rubberband around it so that the draw matches my black one. (The draw becomes way too hard if wrapped completely around to seal in entirely.)
Regarding the juice....I am rather happy to hear that the flavor and throat hit seems weak. I started with Cherry and Tobacco in 24mg. They smell different in the bottle but neither left enough taste for me to admire or dislike. I just got their Melon with my replacement and I will say that it has a nice light refreshing flavor but even that I didn't notice until after I was analog free for 5 days. I was beginning to wonder if the problem was with my tastebuds. Apparently I need more juice.
Every now and then my battery starts that rapid blinking tho it doesn't need to be charged yet. Usually when I have been hitting to hard and to quickly in sucession which I tend to do when I really should be dripping instead.
I have had way too much nicotine trying to notice if there is a difference in vaping with and without the cart in. I even tried with an empty cart. Sometimes I can tell and sometimes I can't. I wonder if wrapping the lips around the cart compared to around the atomizer makes a difference?
I agree Mamu that only time will tell if we got what we paid for.
I used that warranty in my 1st week but as your other vendor gives 14 days I would have been covered anyway.

Regarding the concern of not having an address. They do, I don't know it off hand, but their HQ is in Riverside, CA and they also have a local shop in Rancho Cucamonga, CA at victoria gardens mall. If your ever worried about contact with Marian or anyone at vaporcig, don't be. There are not a fly by night company and are settled on the southern California area. I spent two hours today at the mall hanging out with them.
Again, as for the guarantee being voided when used with other parts. It has nothing to do with Marian trying to get you to stay with her product only. Vapor 1000 is not a standard pen style PV. I personally have tested a lot of generic parts with my vapor 1000, some work, some don't. I will not say what because I don't want to undermine Marian's information. I understand that I have voided the one PV's guarantee and I am not worried about. Jamie, you need to drop posting about the guarantee every time there is a new thread on the vaporcig. If you want to engineer and manufacture a PV and offer a lifetime guarantee without conditions, be my guest, but now your beating a dead horse. Once again, I remind you jamie, If you put a ford part in a GM car, you have voided their guarantee, it is no different with PV's.

Legato if you're gonna go all "you need" - okay. You need to stop misrepresenting my position. You need to stop letting your inner fanboy interfere with your comprehension. You need to stop pretending that their policy is aligned with most other ecig sellers when it's not. Your car industry high horse "reminder" is nonsense.
I don't support the notion that companies get to have hidden warranty terms outside peer standards that they dole out selectively by email after the fact.

Vapor 1000 problems
The first day of use for the Vapor 1000 was ok, didn't have problems while vaping when depleting the factory set battery charge. That was the day I wrote my comparison between the Vapor 1000 and the Rio. Everything was aok that first day.
But now, after 4 days of re-charging the batteries and following the 5 hour charge for 3 days guideline, I have to puff..puff..puff during a draw to get the LED light to stay on past 2 seconds. The throat hit is minimal to none having to do this. I definitely need a good throat hit to feel satisfied! I guess if I didn't need the throat hit, this e-cig would be ok.
I emailed about this problem and was told to hang in there and to be sure to take a long and slow draw - aargh!
I think if you have to jerry-rig this thing with a rubber band to get a good draw as mentioned in a previous post, there's something mightily wrong here.
Seems like some people are doing ok with their batteries and some are not.
Anyway, thank heavens for the guarantee.

I'd like to clarify that the rubberband trick I use is because the draw is a bit too light for me. Think smoking a light cigarette after being used to regulars. I don't think it is defective and another user may prefer it for the airier hit than the tougher one I get with the black one.
I made a video but have no clue as how to show it here. My battery light stays on about 2 or 3 seconds, goes out, then will come back on as I continue to pull. I get a good vap and I draw almost exactly the same way I smoked.
At the same time it doesn't make sense if both units were working fine for you out of the box but now are having problems. What are you dripping on the atomizer? Mine seems to work more to my liking if I use the mix I made by adding glycerine to the juice they sent me.
You have more experience than I but I thought it might help explain why the problem may not seem to be strictly related to the battery.
It is times like this I wish I knew more.

I had problems with one battery from day 1, still do.

I get 4-5 seconds on one, lucky to get 2 seconds on the other.

I have not e-mailed, yet and am not really interested in being told to hang in there!

I agree. I ordered a new setup from a different supplier, so I have something to compare to. Once I compare, somebody is getting their's back.

Please let us know your results with the comparison. In a previous post I compared the Vapor 1000 with the Rio from vapornine.com
The Rio has been performing really well - consistently good vapor and good throat hits. I also purchased the pass-through and absolutely love having a fully charged battery 24/7.

You know Jamie, I don't understand your hidden details problem. I don't see why you let that irritate you. As for my analogy, if you can't understand it, then you have a problem. just like not all cars are alike, e cigs are not alike. No where does she make the claim that her product is compatible with others, if you compare he product side by side with a standard 801, they are not even the same size. NJOY won't guarantee their product if you use e-liquid, they don't tell you that in their information, and I don't see why that is a big deal. You continuously try and address this issue, yet you seem to be the only one.
As for me being a fan boy, excuse me for liking a product. I know vaporcig more than most people, so I feel I can provide more details. now if you believe that I am one sided and don't know anything, let me give you a list of my e-cigs
2 Njoy NCIG's
1 901-C
2 Vapor 1000
1 mini
2 puresmoker pen styles
as you can see, I have a broad range of likes as well as dislikes, so if you believe that I only support vaporcig you are dead wrong. Call names all you like, if you do not like their product due to their guarantee, then don't buy it. But you continuing to spout your nonsense is annoying and not helpful.
