Not a good clip for that. Just put a handful of loose tobacco in a tiny pot (maybe 3 inches across). Barely cover with water. Put the lid on the pot. Simmer for 1 to 3 hours. Filter out the tobacco and store the liquid in the refrigerator. Send TB your used tobacco (just kidding) cause it can be stored in humidors and smoked later.
FYI: I found my perfect tiny pot at a thrift store for 59 cents.

wow you got ripped off- I'd take that back and ask for the .49 cent model
Abotu hte tobacco juice sitting out- will it get all funky if it does sit out? I've got soem I made that is sitting out- never refridgerated

Re: How To Make Tobacco Nicotine Free ....
The 49-cent one didn't have a lid.
The first batch that I made some time ago .. I left the jar out. The liquid evaporated in a few days and the jar became coated with what looked like dried clay. Hmmm. I left it out. On a windowsill as one might expose brewed tea to sunlight. Nothing further became obvious. So I added some water and the clay turned back into liquid. It sat out .. dried out. I threw it out. (Clearly, it had not been adequately filtered for tobacco particulates!)
The next batch I put in a sealed Mason jar like is used for storing homemade jelly. And immediately put it in the refrigerator, as I would other cooked plant items.
I really don't know how long it might take for the liquid to start bacterial growth at room temperature -- and I surely don't want to find out. That's why it stays refrigerated until I can mix it and use it. Think of it as you would a cooked vegetable. Would anyone leave some green beans and the cooking liquid on the counter for days and NOT expect a bacterial cesspool?
All of this is experimentation, so if you left some out, later use it and become violently ill, have your next of kin let us know!
One mo' thing: If anyone has knowledge of the various purification methods, please post for all of us. Purity of the final liquid is essential -- and we surely hope the commercial stuff is always contamination-free. But we who make it at home need to adhere to strict standards, too. When I think of bacteria, I remember Jim Henson, creator of the Muppets and how it was a bacterial lung infection that killed him.

so do you refridgerate you finished homebrew between uses? Like, do you take the dropper bottle out, fill a cart, then stick the bottle back in fridge? Or might it be ok to keep it out for soem hours while refilling the cart? Maybe if the mix has alcohol in it, itm ight not bacterialize so easily too?

Re: How To Make Tobacco Nicotine Free ....
I don't know about TB - but I will fill an 8ml bottle with my mixture and carry it around with me until empty. So far I haven't noticed a difference.

Re: How To Make Tobacco Nicotine Free ....
I don't have a Martha Stewart recipe just yet. But, yes, I refrigerate the tobacco extract liquid. When I last did a mix -- I'm puffing it today -- I did the usual 80% glycerine but added about 10% Kahlua alcohol and six drops of Cook's vanilla extract (mostly alcohol) along with the tobacco liquid. My thinking is that alcohol serves multiple purposes, including atomizer health and perhaps some anti-bacteria or germicidal purposes in the final liquid. I'm sure it doesn't hurt my lungs in the small amount I inhale.
The final mix is left on the table where I keep the e-devices. I don't refrigerate that, but use it up within about a week. Might should refrigerate it, however. Oooo. I can hear the wife now -- "What's this stuff? You already have snus in here. You want to take over the whole thing?"

Re: How To Make Tobacco Nicotine Free ....
I've seen them. U.S. tobacco shops that sell snus now have little miniature refrigerators on the counter, to keep the snus fresh. And those little refrigerators have become hot items on eBay. Heck, we're using a vegetable. Might as well store our stuff as we would fresh vegetables in a refrigerator's bin.

y'know, that's a pretty good link, Nerdy. I'm about 80 feet from the fridge right now and a beer would be just the thing.
naaah - my carts would get pushed out by the booze...
