My first TW901 atom. died when i soaked it with Dr.Pepper
My very first atomizer died when i soaked it with Dr.Pepper....
I had soaked my atomizer with Diet Coke and it did not die....BEWARE OF DR.PEPPER.
I had some spare TW 901 atomizers i had ordered but the 2 that i had opened ( i have more but i dont want to open them) and tried, do not produce the same amount of vapor, throat hit and flavor that my first one did.
In fact for the 2 new atom. that i tried, they tasted like crap. If i could describe it....a little bit like rotten eggs....makes me wanna puke.
So i wash both my atom. with warm water and the nasty taste has mostly gone but i still taste wierdness in my vapor. Still getting no throat hit and little flavor. This is using french pipe flavor from TW.
The performance has decreased so severely, that i prefer to vape my EVO over the 901 with a passthrough, when before the EVO had no chance.
Hopefully with more use, i can get the atom. to work properly, but for now this event has pushed me to decide to buy (i was on the fence before) the KB.

If you read around flexy, you will see that other members have had good success with using coke to clean their atomizers.

LOL Vapor! I know you meant this as a warning but I am cracking up over here. There's just something funny about soaking an atomizer in Dr. Pooper!

Having sugar in the soda or not doesn't matter. It shouldn't be left in there more than an hour or so and after the soda bath it should be thoroughly rinsed with water and blown dry.

Well the ones who initially tested it did not say it should be diet....and others used regular with good results. I actually asked the same question as in, would diet be better....and the simple answer was "doesn't make a difference".

i can see why Diet would be better than regular though. I mean diet has less chemicals than regular but should still contain the low level acid that we need to clean out the atomizers.
This led me to thinking of trying Polident ( cleans dentures) Has anyone tried this?
Well good news is that thankfully the bad performance of the atomizers were because they were not broken in yet. I am now close to the performance i used to get before with my first Atom.
The KB is still very alluring though...its like its winking at me lol.

I soaked two great atomizers in Cola and killed them.... still have not found a way to bring them back to life.

not so sure it would be the dr. pepper itself. random results can be had from cleaning in any liquid. i had one die shortly after a coke bath, and many have killed them with plain water... though the heads up, and any and all results are much appreciated
