Bickford Flavors?

ok- finally- got my PG and bickford flavors today after 3 or so weeks in transit- mixed up some strawberry extract and PG, the taste was very slightly strawberr-ish, then I went and cooked down some Swisher sweet cigarillos- wow- if you're looking for a definate tobacco flavor, buy some and cook it down- The 'sweet' flavor of the Swisher doesn't coem htrough, but the tobacco certainly does, and it's quite nice, but go easy on the mix- only use a little in the PG/extract mixture as it;'s quite strong- instant sweating after epuffing for an hour.

The vapor isn't that great at the moment- not sure what's goign on- I put about 80% PG i nthe mic, so it should produce good vapor, but somethign might be clogged a bit in the atomizer- the one I am using was workign pretty good just before I loaded my Cartridge with hte new home-mix. I might have to cut hte mix even further by adding more PG, or I might have to clean out my atomizer again- not sure what's goign on at hte moment.- just added a dab of Irish Creme- we'll see how the crame and straberry & Swisher sweet combo tastes

Just tasted the Irish Creme- wow- nice flavor- I think it compliments the Swisher Sweet tobacco flavor nicely

I thought I'd read somewhere that Bickfords flavors could be used without adding anything so that's what I've been doing for about four days now. Getting plenty of vapor hasn't been a problem so far. I've been adding it to old cartridges straight up from the bottle and so far it's been working fine for me.

i added Bickfords to used carts and by straight dripping and the vapor was CRAZY!

too bad i got soar throats, etc... from it. I think it was just tooo much PG.

good stuff though. you may not be adding enough PG Naz

Yeah, not sure what's goign on- It should be producing good vapor as the Bickfords also contains PG, but perhaps I put too much tobacco juice in it- gonna try just straight PG later tonight- see what happens. What happens is that the atomizer starts off givign good vapor, then the more I smoke, the ore it loses tha vapor- seems liek somethign is gettign gummed-up almost- just puffing though, it's givign off good vapor- Gponna just have to experiment.

I must say though, this Irish Creme Bickfords extract is really really good- Reminds me of coffee infused with Irish creme taste even the vapor seems to have a lsight odor that is quite pleasant- I almost didn't order hte Irish Creme- but I'm soem glad I did now- The strawberry is a very weak taste, but perhaps I can add it in with hte Irish Creme mix to give it just a hint of berry too. I've also got Champagne extract- not sure what that tastes like yet- will update later

ok some updates here on refilling- It's NOT working I can puff and get pretty good vapor, butI simply can not inhale and then exhale anything- I've tried everything- different mixes, different amounts of the PG- I even tried straight PG & while it was a little better for exhaling, it simply was nowhere near what a new prefilled Cartridge produces. There msut be somethign else in the prefilled cartridges that both produce much better vapor, and last much lionger.

When I refill, I only get abotu a Cigg or two worth of puffing, then the cart is dry- not sure why it's running out so quick, but it is- I really soak the Carts too.

About hte flavors I got- At first, I thought I liked the Irish Creme- scratch that thought! It is quite awful- left a lingering flavor that was not very pleasant. Also, it smelled a bit, too much to be using in public places for sure. The Champagne flavor is even worse tastewise- can't even describe how gross it is. The strawberry is the best of the three, but it's quite weak flavorwise. Also- the Swisher sweet cigarillos I cooked down for the juice is not very good either- it has a taste that I don't care for really, much different than smoking a Swisher Sweet itself. and also produces a smell. My refilling attempt has turned into a big flop so far- gonna try adding some Glycerin to the PG and tobacco juice, see what happens, but not too confident it's goign to be any better- Filling carts is just not doing what I need it to vapor wise- it is fine if you're a Cigar-like puffer, but not for inhaling exhaling it seems

weird naz ... i never had any problems at all with Bicks ... hmmmm...

maybe the atomizer is starting to die again ... you go through them like water!

I don't htink that's hte case, the atomizer woerks fine with normal prefilled carts. lot's of vapor when exhaling. It's got to be something in the mix I think? .

yea.h- tried that too- I. get a little vapor when exhaling, but nothign near what .a prefilled cart gives & I gotta inhale quite hard ot get it- the first few inhales give good vapor with straight bicks, but then it wanes quickly3

Be really careful with the Bick's and make sure you read the ingredients of the particular flavor you are ordering. One bicks does not fit all. Some of them do not have PG in them, but a sugar product and alcohol instead...or may contain all of the above. You'll get a dead atomizer for sure!

I ordered a variety pack with four flavors in it and one of them didn't have PG at all. Fortunately I did read the ingredients of all of them first. And the Bickford's site does list the ingredients of the flavors.
