But Vee, have you read this thread, indicating we may well be not absorbing nearly as much nicotine from our use of ecigs as we may think?

Hi all I am so new to vaping I just found it online yesterday... as soon as I saw it I feel in love... It is exactly what I wanted... the last time I tried just to cut back I sat on the couch smoking my analog (I love that name... it makes me laugh) wishing I could smoke a cig, have the feeling of it in my hand, inhale, taste, exhale without all the nasty stuff that's gonna kill me... I do not want to die but I can't seem to give it up... and then i found the ecig... omg i can't believe it... here it is the answer to my prayers... anyway what I want to ask is could i just go with the 0 nic ejuice... i know i would go through the withdrawls from nic but if i had something i could puff on anytime i wanted at least the habit would still be there right... i have 2 very little kids and i'm scared to have nicotine n a bottle... i know i know i smoke but i don't do around my babies... not in the house or car... i'm rambling i know but i'm so excitedso does the 0 nic ejuice affect the throat hit which i know would be important to me... i really want to give up nic period am i crazy for doing it this way... i smoke about a 1 1/2 packs a day... newport 100s...
Some sort of chart would be very helpful!
I don't think it works out the same mg for mg.
I've seen other posts that work it out differently (but the maths was too much for my poor head).
I do think that 9mg would be like smoking 'silk cut'.
And yes, I do think you start takeing in more nicotine - I can get quite light headed.
Confused vaper.
I hadn't read that, no. That's a *very* interesting find. Still, it's preliminary data not yet replicated for error. Questions such as, was it a pre-filled cart from the factory? Was it a brand new e-cig? Was it fresh filled? Was the atomizer primed? Etc. Those all could have an effect on results.
Even so, whatever the amount actually going into our body, without blood tests, we can only gauge what we are taking in by the ml we use each day. It's still valuable info. If I'm using 1.5 ml / day @ 18mg / ml = 27mg / day @ 10% absorption = 2.7mg / day.
Still valuable info either way. It'll be interesting to hear the final results of the doc's research. It wouldn't shock me if it's true, though. I've been slowly reducing my analog smoking while vaping to the point, 5 days ago, where I stopped analogs completely. I feel almost like I've gone cold turkey! I didn't feel like that even when I put myself down to 4 analogs / day.
Excuse me while I go get some Snus![]()
There is another piece to this. Of the 22mg of nic in a pack of cigarettes you are not going to ingest all of that when you smoke them because the cigarette is burning all the time weather you are inhaling or not. With the liquid, if it is making smoke you getting the nic out of it.
If the juice is 18g per mil, how much of a mil will fit into a cart?
I was going through my notes and I came across something that didn't mean anything to me at the time, but now it does.
A: Yes, all the liquid we sell comes with nicotine strength instruction. For example we have 18mg on the bottle meaning 18mg/1g liquid. Each 302 v8 cartridge contains 1g liquid. Each mini ecig cartridge contains 0.33g liquid. So you can work out the nicotine content accordingly. Other instructions are added depending on wholesaler's needs.
Does this seem right?
Yes, and that's virtually the same as I just posted above in response to your first question about how much per cartridge:
Note that 1g approximately equals 1ml. And the 901 is most often called a "mini".It depends on the cart. For example, a penstyle will hold close to 1 ml, a 901 probably under 1/2 ml, and a super mini even less yet.
