Does E-Vaping give you the Munchies.... Yum Yum.
Hi everyone,
Ive been vaping for about five days now, so far so good! However my wife has started puffing on my 901 + Passthrough at home, she still smokes Royals. She claims that after puffing for a couple of minutes she craves food in a massive way, similar in fact to the symptoms of smoking a Jamaican Woodbine!!! (........).
Anyone else feel hungry?
Thanks, Jim.
PS I am not encouraging people to start smoking wacky backy in an attempt to conduct a scientific experiment, just people who can 'Draw' from experience. (No pun intended lol).

Nope, doesn't make me hungry at all. Infact, it curbs my appetite! Gives me tons of energy though and I get a lot more done and don't have to go sit outside and waste time smoking. I just carry my 901 around the house in my hoodie pocket and take a vape when I want one!

you mixing your own with ganja juice.

Well, according to Ruyan research - extended period of exposure to PG vapor for mice didn't do much on health - but they consistently gained weight.... IIRC.

Don't really see me eating or even drinking more but heck I could afford to gain some pounds. I am more energetic though and therefore burning more calories.

I gained 8 pounds in the last 6 weeks while vaping and eating cake, drinking soda, etc. I'm not sure if it correlates to the vaping but I think there might be a small connection.

It's definitely cut my appetite. I've lost weight since I started vaping without trying to.
That's a good thing for me as I should be quite a bit lighter than I am.

for the first few days it really hungry. Now, not at all.
What i think it did was excite my taste buds which made me more aware of how empty or full my stomach was.

Well, a "side-effect" from quitting smoking is usually weight gain.
When smoking analogs, I found that they did handily suppressing appetite. Whenever I've quit I have noticed I'd eat more than usual, I think both from return of appetite from not smoking, but also something to do with my hands and mouth at the same time.
With vaping, I have improved appetite, and my palette is starting to return as well. Though, I'm not usually hungry after vaping, but I do get really thirsty, so I drink fluids more often.

What is this effect it has on mice?...can you be more specific about what that report said?...i havent heard about that yet but it sounds troubling.
