Default WTF is this white gunk in my cartridge?

I got some blank 801 carts, atomizers, and a USB passthrough about 2 or 3 days ago. I've been using them at home (so less than half the day) since then with TW Camel (18mg).

I just pulled the cartridge-filler out to rinse and refill it and after a bit of tugging it looked like this.

As you should be able to see, it looks like white paint down one thin side.

I have not investigated any cartridges beyond this first one. If I recall, it took a little tugging to get the filling out of the cartridge originally.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It's glue to stop the filler from getting stuck to the atomiser.

    So that'll be
    a) no worries or
    b) erm....still probably better than smoking tobacco?

Having missed out as a teenager, I think I'm a little old to start huffing glue now.

I have found that too in some of my carts and threw them in the trash and restuffed my own material. Didn't know what it was so didn't want to be puffing on it. Those carts don't last long anyway. Junk in my book. Just my .02

fully cured silicone "rubber" is pretty inert (non-reactive) and heat resistant. i wouldn't worry too much about it. the fiber itself is probably potentialy more toxic than the glue, if that eases your mind at all.
