| NZ Supplier | Sandy I've sent you a pm to read through. Depending on how long ago you ordered your unit, you may still be able to change your order if you want to. There is probably nothing much wrong with the supper mini, but as some have mentioned the cartridges are quite small, and the battery life is a bit shorter than the larger sized units. The upshot is go with what you are comfortable with and feel is the most appropriate sized unit to carry around and use.

| So Ok I'll geek--what's wrong with the super mini? Does it belch fire? Spit dog pooh? What? I'm a gal! Call me superficial, but I really don't want to walk around smoking something that looks like an oversized Swisher Sweets cigar mouthpiece on one end with a neon light up it's butt on the other. Can't these mini's be made to work? Somehow? If not why would this great guy (your words) be selling them at all? Still, thanks for the feedback, g'friend--I may well take it--would just like to know why. ![]() Sandy |

| Hey Sandy The BEST thing about Superminis is they blend right in. My wife tried to send me to the smoking room cause I was watching TV while using one. The least convincing is the pen-style, but you'll hear everybody saying their performance is the best (and everybody's right). If you get a good Supermini they work fine. I have two brilliant models, Janty Yentl and Sedansa Nano2. They're very expensive though. My cheapie Super e-Cigs work fine, but the mouth piece is plasticky and the carts taste butterscotchy. I keep four of them in the original box (looks like a cigarette pack) and they're brilliant in the pub. I hand them round and we puff away. Nearly started a riot a couple of times (and had the unintended beneficial side-effect of cleansing the pub of puritans). Don't worry so much - you're gonna love this... Emp

| My experience with hte mini is that they indeed do spit fire and belch dog pooh. The cartridges only last a few cigarettes, and hte draw is quite hard to get any good vapor- but mind you, I've only tried two minis of hte same model, but from everythign I've gathered, quite a few others experience similar problems with outher brands. I don't particularly like toting around a device like hte pen either, but I much prefer the convenience of longer lasting cartridges (I've gone as long as 430 full draws- the equivilent of 43 real cigarettes- but that was really pushing it- generally I get an average of 20-30 real cigg's worth out of one cartridge as compared to about 3-5 real cigg's worth from the minis I have. I have popped in a new cart this mornign at 11:00 and the Cartridge is still goign strong after near constant puffing. I don't go as long on the cartrridges anymore because I don't want to push things too far, so I'll top the cartridge off with my homemade smokin juice later this afternoon aroudn 3:00 or 4:00 p.m and do so for hte remainder of hte day- usually topping off about 5-10 times as needed as the refilling for some reason doesn't last as long as the prefilled carts do- not sure why. The other negative experience I have with hte two minis is that again, they draw hard, and they heat up quick and they get super hot unless I baby the thing, which won't produce good vapor if I do that. The other hting is that it shuts off far too quick for my taste- aroudn six seconds of drawing on it which isn't nearly enough time for me, and hte unit blinks for 19 blinks, which takes too long for it to be ready again for another drag. The battery life is ok- provided the battery is newish, but hte ones I have really start going downhill quite fast after a week+ of use If you're concerned abotu hte looks, perhaps order two models, the super mini and either the mini or hte penstyle- the penstyle can do the heavy work at home, and the mini can be taken out in public (Although I carry both and just use the penstyle whenever possible as it gives much better vapor with less effort-) and to be honest, my mini atomizers didn't hold up nearly as well as my penstyle ones- but again, I've only used one brand and can't comment on other brand's performance- |

| But how do you really feel about minis, Naz? ![]() Ok so I got it. Am going to try to change my first order to the next size up or just bite the bullet and go with the ugly pen-- and also order a mini from the high priced guys Emp says have a good product. Both hubby and I need to quit so having two is not a bad idea anyway. Anybody got a phone on ecig? BTW am still looking for a menthol juice supplier???? ![]() Thanks again folks! REALLY! Sandy |

| That;s just my experience with hte minis- others may have found soem that work wonderfully- my experience with hte one brand though stinks as far as I'm concerned. I'm not saying don't go with the mini- just givign a heads-up abotu my esxperience- As mentioned, the Janty seems to get good reviews, although I think they are severely overpriced, and I've not been too impressed watchign the few videos of exhaled vapor that are available of them on the net (But, I think those in the video were hte older models of Janty that had problems) One other hting before making up your mind- Ratindahat (Dusty) on htis board has a video review of the spuermini from Myecig.com which looks pretty good- might wanna just watch that first- I don't know bout hte Myecig super mini, but hte video looked like it was pretty ok cigg for a super mini- Eppufer.com is supposed to have soem limitted mint juice, and will be getting other flavors soon supposedly Last edited by Nazareth; 07-12-2008 at 06:27 PM. |

| Thanks guys--both of you! I just ordered a yentyl (sp?) kissbox with a spare atomizer and a few dozen cartridges. We'll see how it goes. Actually it's not hugely more expensive and the USa site delivers in a few days! Hopefully by owning two of these--of two types--both with spare atomizers--both that come with spare batteries--both are USA sites--I'll be able to have something to smoke. Am also THRILLED at the spare juice connection--THANKS--and will get that ordered now too! I will let you guys know how this all shakes out. So far am waiting to hear back to change my order--hopefully will hear back soon tho. Sandy |
