Yvilla--that is not an opinion --from a mechanical point it is a fact. If you take an 801 and an RN4072 apart you will find much thicker guage wiring, a stronger bridge and a densed coil.. The contact points also on the 801 are sturdy unlike the Rn4072 that has wires so thin they snap just looking at them wrong. Also the coil in the RN4072 is smaller and the wire mesh is very loose and not strongly connected to the bridge. So bottom line --no opinion--an 801 has a much better construction and design. So it is not subjective like tasting e-liquid--it is very objective------and I for one am not going to tell people to go out and buy and inferior product-----Sun

Sue, as Kate said, as far as I have known, and based on my very first ecig which was an NJOY Ncig, the NJOY penstyles have been RN 4072s. I know Sun disputed that in another thread recently, but that's what I know. Could NJOY have changed suppliers since I bought mine 15 months ago? Maybe. But, I haven't heard anything to make me believe that happened. |

Sun, sorry, but I still disagree, and I have used both.

The life span of them is a lot longer for battery life in between charges, and cartridges last a lot longer. The throat hit should be the same, if not a little better. But some atomizers are better than others. Hope that helps!

| Yvilla--No need to be sorry--just base your opinion on some facts as we are spending a lot of time, money, and effort to get to the bottom of atomizer failure and we already know that the RN4072's Arch Shaped Bridge is much closer to the coil then the cone shaped bridge of the 801 so it burns hotter and creates much more residue on the coil and also wastes e-liquid. I have many of both of these atomizers and after seeing how they work--it would be like me telling someone to buy Rope when a Chain is really needed. So Yvilla if you like for whatever reason the RN4072 keep on buying them---we are just reporting what we are finding in the experiments we are doing---it really has nothing to do with taste or preference as I said----------Sun |

I have a new NJOY in my hand right now and it clearly is an 801--the bridge is Cone shaped--not arched, and the positive connection to the battery is the standard wide diameter 801. Also the diameter of the cartridge is that of the 801--so I do not know what you base your info on--we base ours on what we actually see. The NJOY is the same unit as the BEST BE112 which is a generic 801 and clearly not a RN4072---Sun

The hotter burn makes for more throat hit. Some people prefer that. In your opinion, it's better to go for a supposedly longer lasting coil. Without even getting into longevity (again, I have used both and I know which have lasted me longer), the difference in vapor and throat hit more than makes up for any difference in longevity, for some people. I'm not telling you to recommend them. But I am telling you that which is better is a matter of opinion.

I told you what I was basing my post on, in the post itself. It was based on my own first NJOY Ncig! I also said it was bought 15 months ago, and admitted there could have been changes since. Sheesh!
