Question Weird question about the e-cig and teeth

I just had a stupid amount of work done on my teeth, most of the damage caused by light snacking throughout the day. Sugar sitting on the teeth causing cavities.

I am wondering if the sugars in the flavors, or the glycerin in the vapor would have the same effects as sugar sitting on the teeth?

I was going to ask my dentist today but I forgot after I got jabbed with that big needle. 6 times.

Ouch - I hate needles. Good question though.

I've noticed that my overall oral hygiene level has improved, no bad breath anymore, much less placque and tartar build up, and an increase in whiteness as well

My teeth are a lot better now that I'm just inhaling vapour! Cigarettes ravage your teeth and gums!

I vaguely remember reading somewhere (and I might have got this wrong) that glycerine turns into glucose which is a kind of sugar - but it isn't the kind of sugar that bacteria like to grow in. So in theory anyway glycerine shouldn't be a problem for teeth.

My teeth are fine at the mo, but I am prone to blowing smoke rings down the pub, so they might get kicked out by an irate non-smoker...

Kate is right. Another reason I use glycerine. No one can explain it, but glycerine has some anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. Yes, it does break down into glucose.

I don't think any kind of e-liquid could stop you from antagonising non-smokers Emp! Not unless it somehow changed your personality! If anything it seems to be the greatest pleasure that you get from e-smoking!
