Lightbulb Looking for Advice

Hello I am cruising the e-cigs and I think I have one picked out but I was wondering if an expert could lend me some good advice. Right now I am a heavy smoker. I smoke Marlboros No. 27 if you are not familiar with them its kind of like a red with a longer filter. I would like to order the Smart Smoker e-cig off ebay but I was wondering what the experience would be like. I enjoy the smoke feeling in my mouth and the taste. Also how hard do these things hit and does a cartridge really last about the same as a pack of cigarettes? If anyone has any info let me know because I am not against switching to the bigger style pen e-cig but I would prefer something small and discrete.

Welcome, Crazy....I'm new to the forums as well but been esmoking for a while now.
I can tell you that e-smoking will not give you the exact same back-of-the-throat, head-spinning, first-of-the-day "hit" that a Marlboro will. Also, I have yet to find a cart that will last anywhere near a full pac (especially if you're a heavy smoker)
However, it will satisfy the physical/psychological smoking habit and yes, at times will give you a surprising hit (depending on the strength/density of the brand).
Anyway, I was a 2 pack-per day smoker for 15 years and now I no longer smoke the 'evil sticks' and exclusively e-smoke! I can truly tell that nothing else would have worked for me. The funny thing is that at the time, I actually wasn't looking to quit....I just stumbed upon e-smoking and now I like it far better than regular smoking!!

Default Which one do you recommend

So what one do you use. I hear there is more Smoke or Vapor from the pen style? Does the amount of vapor really matter when thinking of nicotine delivery?

Speaking just for me, much more vapor from a pen-style.
I'm thinking because the battery is stronger and bigger.

For me yes amount of vapor really matters thinking of nicotine delivery.

Yeah, I totally agree. A pen-style will give you the most smoke and the smoke IS important

The vapor is delivering the nicotine, so yes, more vapor means more nicotine is being delivered to the lungs.

I would recommend pen sized e-cigs. I own Njoy (cigar style) and Janty Kissbox Classic. They are both very good. My first e-cig was a mini cigarette that was very dissapointing.

Hi CrazyS

I wouldn't go with eBay. Depending on your location I suggest trying Meltrex in US, Smokester or Pillbox in UK. All have very good reps on this forum.

I wasn't really looking to quit either. Thought this would just take up the slack in movie theatres, bars etc. Turned out nuch better than I expected.

Electronic Cigarette | Free Yourself... | e-cigs Welcome - Smokester
The Electronic Cigarette Company (UK) Ltd. | SHOP | - Pillbox
MyEcig.com Your Online Shopping For Electronic Cigarettes - Meltrex

Welcome to the club! Our most prolific poster calls this the First Church of E-Smoking...
