    Default ECigReview.com update and question.

In case anyone cares, I thought I'd mention that ecigreview.com is progressing, though not as quickly as I'd like. Sometimes, after programming all day at work, I just don't feel like coming home and doing more of the same thing. And when I do feel like it, I can usually only get an hour or two in...blah blah blah, excuses, excuses, excuses. Barring getting run over by a beer truck, I will finish this project...eventually.

What I've been working on lately is the underlying structure of the site: setting up the database, coding, that sort of thing. My plan is to get those fundamental elements of the site finished, and then launch it, letting you all begin posting reviews. After that, I'll work on making it prettier, because, as it stands now, it's...um...fugly. I can make the website work, but I'm not very good at making it look pretty. I might need someone's help with that when the time comes.

    And now, my question:

How would advertising on the site affect you all's perception of the review site's integrity? The bottom line is that web-hosting isn't free, and with the money I'm spending on e-cigs and supplies, I don't have just a whole bunch of money to throw around. It's not that expensive, but if I could throw some unobtrusive Google ads in a few places and make some of the cost back, that'd be nice. Or, I could go crazy and sell advertising space directly to e-cig companies, should the site ever get big enough that those companies would care (I know, I'm getting ahead of myself...haven't even launched the thing yet :-) ). Regardless of the form the advertising might take, though, I don't want to do it if it would hurt the credibility of the site. I've never done anything like this before, so I thought I'd ask you all what you thought about it.

So, what do you all think about it?

I have no problems with ads on sites... Even if there's quite a few. Just as long as they aren't annoying. You know like those ones that take over the page until you close them or the ones that scream at you through your speakers or generally deceptive ones. (Not that I'm saying you'd have these). Google has a whole bar down the side of their site that advertises. Never bothered me.
As for my perception of your site... Well your content would decide that the ads don't say anthing specific as long as the above I talked about isn't done then I would just think you were weird

So yeah generally speaking about any site I have no problem with them.

Ads are fine as long as they are subtle in my opinion and don't detract from the rest of the site. If you need a hand with anything, I occasionally make things pretty so just let me know.

    Keep up the good work.
