I have both but I only use the RN. I ordered a bunch of extra atty's and have yet to use them. I have noticed that if i flood it it doesnt give a good throat hit at all just alot of liquid in my mouth.so I only drip the cart and very rarely drip into the atomizer.

That is what I would blame it on

That Kensington power pack is a good unit--but reports have been posted that the draw can exeed the 1 amp or in the alternative it is shorting out--try a different pack--the best ones have a .5 mH with a max of 1amp output so as to not overload the atomizer---Sun

Uggggggg I just spent over $40 on this one and everyone else seems to have no problems that I've seen here. Could it be that I'm drawing to hard and heat it up too much?

No--that power pack is the issue

Lucy --you tried other passthoughs and the draw is not the issue--the posts are on other forums as well and there was the same issue with the Apex one here a few months ago. There should be a warranty on it--but I would not use that one till you get a replacement. That will take care of the issue---Sun

I just bought the Kensington too. I haven't really used it because my passthrough doesn't work. What brand should I get instead?
-
Queen, others haven't been reporting these problems with the Kensington and I don't think mine is defective. I'm wondering if it just is the 4075 attys and I get them too hot and draw too hard. I don't know. I slapped on this best e cig one and we'll see how this goes. If it's toast in a week I don't know what to do!

Queen--I have been using this one since Jan and it is a beast to say the least--3 days inbetween charges and only 6 hours to charge--Comes with Auto adapter as well--Sun

Lucky --the nicocrome coil can handle at least a good 30 second draw without issue--you can not see the short in the powerpack--only the result--which is a dead atomizer--suspect that power pack as these things are not reliable--nothing is in this deal----Sun
