4 fried attys in a week and a half
Okay, I love passthroughs more than anything, but in a week and a half now I have 4 FRIED atomizers. Something is not right. Is this happening to other people????? I've even changed passthroughs and yet another one is fried today.

I've now put on a best e cig atty so it's not a 4075 and the draw is harder than crap on a brand new atty. I switched it to a battery and got nothing but a mouth full of juice. I don't get this.

the pass throughts are running like 4.5v I believe and that is enough to fry your atty
-
But I don't hear others complaining of this happening so that's why I don't get it.

I see your point.
Im sure you will get some replies soon.

Lucky--this has happened to me till I saw my passthough was staying on for a few seconds after I stopped taking a draw. After changing out the passthrough, it stopped. But you say you have done that. Have you watched the light in the mirror to make sure it goes out as soon as you stop the draw? if so, then lets go to the power source. 4.5V 1 AMP will not fry the atomizer. What will fry it is over 1 amp--so what are you using for a power source? --------Sun

L7 you are just hardcore and the atomizers want to see you suffer.
How much are you vaping on the pass thru?
Have you been using the USB pass on your computer or some other power supply (battery pack, or some other weird mod)?

Hi Sun, I am using the Kensington power pack. Yes, I have switched passthroughs even, sent the first one back. Now this one has killed an atty in like 4 days. NOW, all the attys have been 4075's. Could this be something to do with it? Let me go check the light thing hang on........

I've been using the passthrough all day and all night on the Kensington. 4075 attys. I just pulled out a best e cig atty which isn't supposed to run as hot. The draw is super hard on it. Let's see how long before this one dies.

Lucky, I had fried two atomizers in a week. One was on a passthrough and the other while using a batt. I contacted the supplier and he is sending me two replacements.
I'm trying to be a bit gentler on my attys and not draw on it when it is hot. Don't know if it will help but it was quite alarming being down to only one atty.
I also starting dripping a bit more..it seems more efficient and that burnt taste always tells you that that is enough and to put me down, even though there is a lot of vapor. Let it cool, prime with a couple of drops of juice and let it sit for a bit. This also helps me from vaping too much because the first throat hit straight on the atty is very satisfying. But I'm sure you already know all this..
