I am now an anti-tobacco nut

I haven't smoked in the house nor allowed smoking in the house for years. Nothing to do with smoking in general, it's just that I have too much original art around (specifically works on paper) and smoke really screws them up. Not a rabid anti-smoker, just a rabid art lover.

I even smoked outdoors during a winter in Fairbanks. Boy, that'll make you rethink if you realllly need that cig!

SurbitonPete, Sherid, we now know a few other persons that will not be driving their friends and family away. Family and friends are priceless.

I still allow smoking in my house and probably always will. My daughter and my son's girlfriend both smoke. I LOVE when we all get together around the kitchen table talking, laughing, and just having a good time. I want them to always be comfortable and always feel welcome in our home. I can understand how so many of you have banned it from your homes but for me....it's just not that big of a deal.
