Then I purchased a KissBox kit and also a Dura-C kit. Both these have manual switches. Oh my stars - what a difference! Throat hit all the time! I use 18 mg nicotine, may consider dropping that now. Last week I purchased a screwdriver and am awaiting it's much anticpated arrival!

So, I'm reading that zero nic content also gives a throat hit. Comments? |

Spikey though is on 0 nic and gets a throat hit with her Prodigy (5 volts). I have the GG running at 6 volts and am in no hurry to go 0 nic yet, so I haven't tried it. I alternate 18 mg with 12 mg.

I am new to this forum and not even sure how to use it. I have been analog free one month and I am thrilled using the e-cigs. I smoked 39 years. My husband smokes camel non-filters 40 years and I know he is going to need something with a strong hit. He is willing to vaping a good try. Any suggestions?

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance. Stay away from all auto switch PV's such as the 901, 801, 4081, Blu, Smoke Everywhere, 401, 402, etc, etc. Get a manual switch PV. The manual 510 is the only one that looks similar to the real thing and is well liked on this forum. The only draw back is the short battery life (2-3 hours) and the cost of the batteries ($13-$20). The premier PV's cost more initially, but get up to 8 hours battery life on a charge, have consistent, good throat hit, have batteries that cost $2 and you can get the batteries from battery companies instead of PV suppliers. Over the long run, they pay for themselves with the inexpensive batteries. I would also suggest getting higher nicotine strength liquid (24mg-36mg) to start out with. Forget the prefilled carts. Get extra atomizers also. Here are your choices: The Big Five in Long Battery Life Manual Switch PV’s: Screwdriver: ecigscrewdriver.com The Black Screwdriver Kit / Totally Wicked eLiquid / Electronic Cigarette e-liquid shop Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!! GG: THE GG JantyStick: Janty USA LV/ZiMoshi: http://www.zimoshi.com/ Good Luck
