I've changed the cartridge, but a fresh battery on, and the LED lights up but there's no vapour whatsoever.
Is there anything I can do to get it working again?
It did this a couple of days ago for a while but then started working again suddenly

if youve tried blowing it out and washing it(which is usually only a temp fix anyway)then the best thing to do in these situations,i find,is to order a new one...they arent very expensive from smokester mate.

Bury it in the garden and give it a good send off
and order a new one!
I said "NO" to nicotine but he wouldn't listen !

Spider...looks like your atomiser has shorted out...usually the wiring which was compacted under the atomiser is the main cause of sudden malfunction....if you have warranty then you can ask for a replacement but if you don't..you can try disengaging the atomiser heads by pulling out the connecting heads..you'll need a lot of skill for this because some of the atomiser will have some LOCTITE compound glued into it's seams..so it is not easy...and need to reconnect back the wires by soldering iron...still not easy...
You can try the scratching of the atomiser heads by using a blunted instrument like a tweezer(metal) ..sometimes the heads do not transfer the electricity well but if you create a new gap you might able to re-establish the connection..but this does not work all the time especially if the sub-wires shorted out first..so I hope this will clear the air or at least give you a guideline...sorry mate, if it doesn't work..sometimes like what TB said..it's the luck of the draw....

also, there is a fiber material that the small thin wire wraps around and which apparently is what soaks uo soem of the liquid for it to be vaporized apparently? This fiber material can burn to a crisp, and be no logner useful and hte atomizer will not work any longer, or work very poorly and taste bad/burnt

Hi everyone! Thanks for all your advice, it is much appreciated.
I've had this atomiser for just under a month from Pillbox, and I already took your advice Darcy/Kit and I have two spares, so I'll be ok.
I'm going to try your suggestions TB / Dr. Loi and see if I can get anything out of it, maybe there is some life in it yet

Let us all know if that works.

Oh Bob,
you left out the most important bit - the 3 packs of Marlboro reds stacked in the lowest northwestern corner of the dwelling as an offering to the god Nicotinus.
The Marlboros MUST be placed 12 hours prior to the baptism ceremony. Immediately after placing the 3 packs, raise a newly filled Zippo towards the heavens, flick the igniter, and shout "Rock On!"
If Green Day's "American Idiot" is playing at the same time, the chance of success increases threefold.

Ya my first died a few weeks ago. It did the same. For a few days before, it would work on and off. One time I'd get no smoke, then 15min later it would work fine, etc etc for 3 days. Then it just died completely.
