Default Personal Vaporizer Info For My Enthiastic Doctor

    Hello All,

My doctor is thrilled with the improvement in my lungs ( I have COPD) and he would like to start recommending PV's to his other patients who smoke.

Does anyone have any ideas for the best info I could printout for him. Also, there was one ecig site I went to and it had a graphic animated cutaway of an ecig that showed each of it's parts with explanations of the function of each section. I can't remember which site it was on but I am sure it was either a supplier or manufacturers site.

I see this as a positive sign of the medical communities willingness to keep an open-mind so I would like to give him good info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Default Loud music?

If your party was loud (as it should be) then that will drain your EVO batteries. Other posts cover this issue but the EVO switch is a microphone and loud noise triggers that puppy... sucking battery life. Although some seem to be more sensitive then others, I've heard of people not being able to have there window down while driving. Mine (which are all new... <3wks) are not that sensitive but loud music (or general loud drunkeness) will turn them on even when not vaping. I got a thick metal cigarette case made by Promethius (made in Germany) that will hold 8 full EVO's or whatever combo, I carry 2 spare bats a few carts a stubby charger and a spare atty in mine. It seems to be thick enough metal (plus mines flat black with kind og a rubber paint) to prevent noise activation of teh spare batteries. Picked up the case from Lighters Direct. Won't solve the reduced operating on the cig but atleast your spares will be fully operational when you swap them out. Cheers.

    Well.. those words are harsh.
No one forced you to smoke cigarettes.. You chose to.

I like my EVO, both the Genie batteries and the Mighty Atoms - I'm really happy with this model. I don't see why it is overrated?
    Well,

If I have to explain the meaning of the words I would say:

    1) - forced - I was still a little angry that after a 23 days break I had to light up a cigarette - and Yes, actually I did not really have a choice since vaping totally replaced my smoking habit but I still consider myself as "a smoker" - I did not quit smoking, I replaced the habit with e-cigs and still get drags of vapor and nicotine every day. I will not discuss the advantages and disadvantages of e-cigs in general in this thread.

    2) overrated - don`t get me wrong - I still think I`ve made the right choice with the Evo, but if your battery lasts 8 hours one day and only 2 hours on the next recharge you will be mad as well (now I know what possibly caused this). But if you guys are right and the battery activates itself from the slightest vibrations or loud music, wind, etc. this is NOT good for going out, or party time. It means that if I go out partying a lot I need an e-cig with a manual switch for sure or I`ll just waste batteries...Going out with 4-5 spare batteries IS a solution, but it`s not right imo.

    3) Evo - I think everyone should admit that this little e-cig has its pros and cons - If there is "a perfect e-cig" please let me know and I`ll buy it.

    Peace

Always bring more then enough to get you through the time frame you will be away from home. if your batts last 3 hours and you know you will be gone 6 hours don't bring 2 batts bring 3 or 4 always carry 1 or 2 spare attys and some juice.

Today was my first extended trip with my 306 I was gone for 5 hours and my 2 batteries only lasted 3 1/2 hours(constant vaping)... luckly I brought my 901 as well. I did have a scare with my 901 I lost it in my truck and started thinking about having an analog but then I found it under my seat Also I came home and ordered 2 501 batts(fit the 306) and a spare atty. After I made that purchase I had a strong desire to order a 2nd 510 set (1 on pre-order already) I might do that tomorrow (I think I have a problem)

Default Just unscrew the batteries from the aty's

Whenever I got to a party where I know my "judgment might be impaired," I take a fully charged 401 battery attached to the atomizer and two fully charged 401 batteries in my pocket. I also carry a small 4ml plastic container of juice. I know I won't, or at least, shouldn't be vaping more than that.

Most people here on the thread are right - 401 batts will discharge pretty quickly at loud parties/movies. Even talking close to a 401 battery activates it. My recommendation is to simply just unscrew the battery from the atomizer. The battery will discharge itself a little bit, but it won't be as bad as the scenario you mentioned. Instead of 3.5-4 hours you might get 3-3.5 hours instead.

That's what I used to do.

Luckily, I finally managed to work myself down to 0 nic juice, so I don't really panic anymore when my battery goes dead. A couple shots of vodka and some fresh air are usually enough to make me forget all my worries, hehe.

Amen to all who plan ahead and adopt the Boy Scout motto. 'Tis MUCH better to be prepared. I've purchased several additional chargers, just so I can have a "battery" of batteries ready for rapid deployment if need be.

You can. You just need to plug the passthrough to a battery pack. There will be cables though but still very much portable.
