Thumbs down Evo forced me to go back to analogs

    Hello guys,

I would like to share with you that after a 23 day "smoke free" period me and my lady were forced to smoke 3-4 analogs at my birthday party last night because of the overrated Evo.

    We definitely are disappointed

The most frustrating part was that we were at home

I`ve had the 2 white batteries charged 100% - 4 hours charging time for each and the LED turned on constantly (as I mentioned in another thread I`ve never had an Evo battery charged in less than 3 hours and it was confirmed by others that I`m not the only one with batteries/chargers that need such a long time).

So we started vaping fresh juice at about 8pm and I set the two black batteries in the usb chargers.

After 3 hours almost at the same time the 2 white batteries were dead

    Switch

After 1 hour the black ones were dead

    Switch

After 20 min the white ones were dead again

We got tired of this and took some analogs from our friends and started smoking..... I`m not going to tell you our impressions from the analogs since we both were kind of drunk (I was wasted as always on my BD parties lol).

I was not disappointed by the black mighty atoms since they dont really last long usually, although the same day I used a black one for 5 hours without charging it and it was still not done.....

The white ones on the other hand have never been such a pain in the ass.

8 hours of constant vaping - what the hell?

I guess in case we`re going out to parties we should have 6 fully charged batteries total and I still think there might be a chance that won`t be enough.

    This is not right!

Only one question that`s in my mind right now:
What do you guys do when you go out to avoid analogs? Do you carry 4 batteries with you? IMO this is the only solution!

In a word - YES! (plus a few attys and god knows how many carts..... just in case ) Although, I can't say that I've ever used all the batteries - even on a mega night out, but I'd rather have the peace of mind in knowing that I am not going to run out, rather than worrying about it. (Oh, plus a battery pack 'just in case' aswell LOL!)

Yes...I carry 3 extra 901 batteries, an extra atomizer, a few extra carts (because pople want to try it) and liquid with me if I am going to be out drinking. I vape twice as much when drinking just like when I was smoking. I would smoke two packs instead of one. Now, if there is an issue with your batteries, that is a different story...

You need backup for backup. Down the pub I generally carry a generic pen with eight fully charged batteries in my old cigarette case, a spare atomiser, a Ruyan disposable cigar, my screwdriver and a spare atoniser & six batts for that. Consumables run to 10 carts and a bottle of juice. You can see why I need the goddam man-bag, right?

It's the dragon's den. I go in there with the specific intention of erasing my volition, so I go prepared. Nobody forced you to do anything, dawg.

I carry the powerful penstyle and avoid conventional e-cig batteries using a USB passthrough and Kensington USB battery pack. The unfortunate problem this has is people must think I am strange smoking a pen tethered with a wire hehe!

Why not take a look at such devices as Trog's Screwdriver, Imeo's GG or coming soon Puresmoker's Prodigy G1. They are 1 piece and use normal atomisers. Because of their larger size, long life powerful inexpensive batteries sit inside, making whopping throat hits and the ability to vape all day!!

Well I just don`t know if there is a problem with the batteries, but if a battery lasts 8 hours one day and only 2 hours after the next recharge cycle, then another 8 hours then maybe something is wrong.

I cant just call Intellicig and start complaining because they DO last 8 hours, just I wish it was constant.

I generally carry 2 spare batteries with me for a night out and never had a problem. I usually only need 1 backup but every now and then I have to use the 2nd back up.

I find that I get about 4-5 hours of decent vaping out of each battery.

I gave up on Evo - battery issues, too hard a drag and dead atoms after a week.
Now my primary is a 901 with a usb hooked to a Kensington power supply or the the computer.
When I go out I take the 901 with battery and extra battery,
my Janty Dura-c ( because it has never failed ) and a small bottle of juice.

Live and learn - I had the same experience but now I'm set.

I changed to mostly using a pass-through and a battery-pack; that will get you through quite a few hours without problems.
You can also go for the heavier batteries (SD, GG, other mods for now; Puresmokers on it's way too).
If I have to use batteries, then yes, I take a handful with me. Plus a few carts. Plus at least one back-up atomizer. Plus a small bottle of liquid.

Time for you two to make yourself a 'travelkit' Find a good size casing, make all fit inside using foam with formed holes and slits in it - something like that.

Hoping your next party works out better!

“Forced” is probably a bad word to use. I know I would probably smoke tobacco if I was in that position but I wouldn’t say I was forced to. I would have chose to.
