$1.80 a day is not bad but I can inject my own for even less than that. I can make cigarettes cosmetically indistinguishable from commercially manufactured cigarettes for a buck to a buck and a half a pack. I can inject a pack in about five to ten minutes with what I think is better tasting additive free tobacco.

I realize this is a site about e-smoking but if we are going to compare the costs of traditional tobacco smoking as compared to e-smoking I don't think its fair to leave out making your own (RYO/MYO). I was much less frustrated and spent much less time injecting my own cigs than the almost constant screwing around with e-cigs I have experienced. I'm hanging in there, however, as I think this technology has a lot of potential.

I was addressing only price. And I'm not after the cheapest nicotine source. For me, taste and convenience are just huge factors in my desire to switch to disposables. But right now I greatly prefer the taste of my own homemade liquids. So that's a problem when a cartridge isn't meant to be refilled.

Still, no way will I use only ONE device. I want 'em all!

While oyu may be able to- you are still burnign tobacco which itself contains many carcinogens- so again- we're talkign abotu a very innexpensive E-smoking device that it is most likely very much better for you- while a little more expensive than what you can do with regular tobacco, it's again- supposedly much better for you.

Ned- if you wouldn't mind, could you just take the battery out of charger- stick a cartridge in and give just a couple of puffs to tell us what the flavor is like? Then stick battery back in for hte remainder of charge? Also did you get hte standard cartridge flavors? Or did you order otehr flavors as well? I'm right on verge of ordering, but really concerned abotu hte taste- a quick review of taste woudl be most helpful. I don't htink taking a coupel small puffs would hurt the battery before it's fully charged.

The carts last 2 or more days actually Trog- & if you really want to keep thenicotine level going for those 2 days, a quick refill will suffice just fine- Heck- we're refilling our traditional pens anyways, plus fussing with atomizers etc. For the maount of vapor, and length of Cartridges on these loongs, it can easily go 3 months without much fuss at all for 50 carts- even longer with juast a little extra work to refill a cart once or twice to keep nic levels up

ive been saying this for ages trog...

i just find it hard to believe that 1 cart with that amount of liquid will last a constant, hardcore esmoker all day,and still deliver satisfaction...

i guess we'll see,but if it does, its the loaves and fishes miracle all over again...

If it doesn't happen, so be it. But Mixos was getting two days, not one, from a single cartridge. I only want ONE day. Period. ONE day. And I'll chuck it, not try to refill it, or stretch it, etc. To be competitive, a disposable must only equal real cigarette use. One pack. One day. At $1.80, this would be great. But we'll wait to see if it delivers.

No kidding at all.
