| Yeah I been talkin with Rita too somewhat- she's got some comunication deficit though- language barrier or osmehting- I keep askign quesitons, but she mostly answers with somethign totally irrelevent to what I asked. I can't seem to get a striaght answer form her. Ned- in your kit, did you get a charger chord that has a U.S plug with it? I note that the picture of hte plug-end posted on their site is a european plugend- I tried to aks Rita if the kit contains U.s plugend, but she answered with something unrelated to the quesiton and I never did get an answer |

I totally agree with you about Rita same thing happened to us just keep going round in circles. And pretending to know nothing about what we are asking for so they can get more money out of you. The oldest trick in the book. ( And I'm sorry but my English isn't to good)-but when it comes to money they know what you're on about really. Regarding the plug it is a two pin European not US .the way we converted in the UK is to use a shaver two pin plug adapter. Then that fits in our three pin type sockets. So whether you can get a European two pin converter to US your probably know more about that yourself. I do own one of these for travelling. If we ever travel over your part of the world I have a three pin to US pin converter .I also have a multi type travel converter to suit various countries. Talking about US type plug sockets they always seem to be not as safe as three pin ones we use in the UK . I always find when you plug something in US type socket. You always seem to get a spark that comes out of the socket it is that normal and also sometimes you end up wriggling the wire on the plug sometimes to get it to work. They always seem not secure where our three pin sockets tend to lock the plug in place better. A few UK suppliers selling E. cigarettes actually provided a UK plug Cord. So the ones that came with a two pin. I have borrowed the power cords from them which work fine. The end of the Cord which goes into the actual charge is like your average kettle or video recorder power lead so you might have a lead that might fit anyway you just have to try this. Also some UK suppliers supply you with two pin shaver adapter or so but some don't .I have found so then it is time to run down to the local DIY store. I hope this has been helpful to you. | |
