Seem to of just run into a couple bad cartridges, far as I can tell. You're right about the taking some smooth drags out the starting gate- that's a good way to avoid "the drip"

Also, a little time for the cartridge to sit in its new home seems to make a positive difference.

try a pipe.. it takes a mighty suck indeed to drag liquid up the four inches from liquid to mouth.. one of the down sides of trying to make these thing so short and real cigarette like..

one of the reason i like the older 901s is the long mouthpiece..

I'm going mad with my mini cigarette, keep getting liquid in mouth, then i have to blow from the open side of the cartridge on a tissue, and drops of liquid come out, and my heart breaks looking at all that precious liquid wasted. I'm not sure why it happens, i thought it was caused by re-filling the cartridge too much, but it happens anyway if i am more careful. Could it be the polyester wearing out? I've still to get my hands on that acquarium filter poly to renew the used cartridges.

I have my dse901 connected on a manual switch, anyway I took the cartridge out and pressed the button while looking inside and noticed the liquid if there is too much inside boils up which explains how it gets into the airflow ducts on the side of the cartridge. I also noticed it does not boil over the atomizer bridge so if you put the cartridge in with the airflow ducts on top of the bridge then you don't end up sucking in the liquid if you have too much inside the atomizer.
