Personally, I haven't heard of a new dse901. Would be interested in checking one out myself..I personally like the 4075..the rn4075 has a larger bowl under the coil and the wicking material looks better constructed than the 901,,,the rn4075 is sold as the 901 by some vendors...

bestecig atomizers appear to have the higher bridge. Their batteries are also the mic switch type - which are a totally unusable in a Miata with the top down, by the way

18 dollar shipping kills it. When I buy my next product I'll buy from there I suppose. The warranty is good at 6 months but I have to justify the shipping. God I love/hate playing with these things

Does this so called New dse-901 have different threads than the regular one by sailbeo and First Union?

Maybe you mean the EM901 instead of the DSE901. I believe EastMall is selling the EM901.

This whole 901 business has me confused as of late. I have seen two versions of what people have claimed to be the new "901". One was almost identical to the old 901 in form and threads. The parts were interchangble with the DSE901/RN4075. Another one I saw was the KR901 (I believe the prefix was KR but could be mistaken) which looked almost identical to the M series e-cigs where the atomizer wick is exposed and the cart fit around it rather than inserted into it like the DSE901/RN4075. I personally got the impression that the KR901 was called that to try and capitalize on the name. I do not think they are made by the same factory. The more this whole 901 thing unfolds the more I get confused.

I believe the EM901 is the same as a DSE901/RN4075 and the prefix is just changed to EM to represent East Mall.

You might be right about that. I have my original 901 as a back up now that I have the SD. Once I get the Prodigy, I plan to not be buying anymore devices for a long time.

Same here. I use the Screwdriver, the Janty Stick (I'm real excited about this now that they announced adapters are coming for the 901 & 510) and have ordered the prodigy. I have plenty of atomizers so I think I'll be done for a while with buying devices. I think juggling those three will be more than enough to prolong the life of all of them.

The only hesitation I had about the prodigy is the switch design. You can argue it's ergonomics but the robustness of the side switch remains to be seen and I've killed enough switches to know it's an issue. People complain about the bottom button on the SD but unless dropped on the switch end it lasts push after push. In the end if there are any problems with the prodigy switch hopefully they will get resolved in first six months while there is a warranty.
