I vape a whole cart in about 5 mins

I must be going through at least 5 mls a day at this rate.

Had a 8 hour drive (4 each way) to scotland and back today and was on it constantly. And done another 5 carts worth since been home.

First thing in the morning I can dry out an 801 cart in 15 minutes or less (automatic usb passthrough) The safety feature slows me down. Perhaps not economical, but a month ago that woulda been 3 cigs.

Sounds like you're vaping out of habit. I get that way sometimes too. Try some zero nic, and just use the 12mg every once in a while for a hit.

Sounds pretty much like me except I am vaping 24mg and 18mg currently and not quite 5ml/day. We are both likely not far enough away from our analog smoking days to be able to substantially cutback on nicotine intake just yet. Hell, I burned 20+ smokes for over 30 years. Just not smoking tobacco at all is a huge step. I am not going to sweat a little heavy use of smoking fluid right now.

Cat, if that is a 801 your really hitting it, but 12mg is not very strong. I don't think were getting as much Nic as we think. If I use the higher nic I don't need to stay on it as much.

Yeah I guess it is habit. I spend all day working from home at a computer and it is so convienant.

I used to go through 30 - 40 ciggies before on a bad day, on average 30.

So amem, at least not having to empty the ashtray

it might not need "will power" to swap from real cigs to e cigs... but i do think a little might be required not to go overboard and act like a total pr-t with e cigs..

trying "weak" real cigs never used to work with me.. i just smoked more of them.. i am inclined to think the same applies to e cigs.. if there is a danger from e cigs.. it wont be from the nicotine it will be from the excessive quantities of vapour you are inhaling..

try some 36 mg liquid and some of that "will power" stuff mixed in with it..

I find that if I am continuously vaping on an 801 (regardless if using the passthrough and powerpack or not) that I end up having to wipe the sides of the carts every few minutes. I actually find that more fluid is being wasted than vaped and I know I am not overfilling. So my carts go dry pretty quickly as a result of this (in about 15 minutes if contunously vaping on it in the evening which I do sometimes). I don't have a manual switch for mine.

I think the 801 is my best device to drip with anyway so if don't use the carts I don't go through much liquid dripping instead. If I am dripping with the 801 there is no way I can drag it continuously for 15 minutes (more like 5 minutes).

I don't have this problem with my SD, or using a 901 with passthrough and powerpack.

I am curious if anyone else is having the same problem. It's kind of silly that my 901 carts last longer than my 801 carts as a result.
