    Default Best Descripton?

I'm a physician in the alternative health care field (chiropractor and acupuncturist). I've been a member for a while and an e-cig smoker. I am involved in the protection of dietary supplements from the FDA. What is the best written description of e-cigs and what they are with technical information and persuasive facts that I can give to other organizations that are going up against the same problems with the FDA that we are? If they add us to their various efforts and petitions it would be a great help.

I'd just like a letter that someone has already composed to inform the uniformed about what e-cigs are, the benefits, etc.

This is what Right to Vape say:

A personal vaporizer, commonly known as an e-cigarette or e-cig, is a device that simulates tobacco smoking by atomising a flavoured liquid (optionally containing nicotine), producing a smoke-like vapour. Personal vaporizers provide an alternative to traditional tobacco smoking. However, the vapor emitted, unlike tobacco smoke, contains no tar, known carcinogens or any other known to be harmful substances and studies have shown any nicotine to be absorbed in mouth and/or lungs of the e-smoker for 98% or more. Thus there are no second hand vapor issues; the vapor is not smoke so second-hand smoke is totally absent.

The liquid utilised in personal vaporizers consists of pharmaceutical or food grade propylene glycol, flavourings, glycerine, water, alcohol and nicotine if desired. Nicotine amounts are typically available in ranges from zero to 36mg per ml.

A small number of users experience allergic reaction to propylene glycol; a glycerine-based e-liquid may be used instead.

Care should be taken to keep the liquid out of reach of children and pets as nicotine is toxic.

The personal vaporizing device comes in various models and colours, many of which are similar to the size of actual cigarettes, pipes and cigars.
