How often to change batting

I notice I am vaping a lot, enjoy it and nicotine is very low - but wondering how often I should completely change my batting. I add drops to the batting when atty gets hot or flavor is gone - about how often should I be changing the batting completely to new dry batting and rewetting it compared to just adding drops to batting already being used?

I change mine once a day. I wash and reuse the old ones. Works good! The night before, I get a cartridge all filled and soaked for the morning, so it's all good to go.

I usually bought a big bag of polyester batting at walmart and usually use the same piece until: 1. it starts to taste burnt or 2. it stops to wick adequately, meaning it just doesn't hold as much juice as it did before and it doesn't deliver it to the atomizer efficiently enough....

Ya, it gets soaked up and absorbed more with the filling. I fill it and wait a while and then top it off some more to soak over night.
