I received my 3 cigars from bestecig.com today. There was a slight delay which they informed me of because of the olympics but still only took 10 days. The total cost for the 3 cigars @ $15.00 plus postage @ $20 to the UK was supposed to be $65.00 When you go through the checkout it says it converts the dollars into a local currency equivalent to $65.00 The strange thing is though I was billed in dollars to my credit card but it was for $72.19 and by the time my credit card converted it back into sterling the total was £40.40 That works out at £13.46 per cigar. These cigars come in a variety of flavours and strengths. I got Marlboro, 555 and flue-cured tobacco. I have nothing to compare these with e-cigar wise although I have ordered a Ryan disposable that should be with me soon. They came in simple boxes and you just push the atomizer in then start smoking. I've only tried the marlboro for now and my first impressions are it is great. I'm not used to smoking large cigars so it is a bit weird at first sucking on this huge thing in your mouth but I'm sure I will get used to it. The draw is excellent and from the first puff I could feel the taste of the vapour tingling on my tounge. The vapour is pretty huge too both on inhaling and exhaling. I think I must be getting a good nicotine hit with it as you certainly know you have smoked it after a few puffs. It's too early to tell how long it will last but I will keep you updated on that.

I'm getting one for a review from BestEcig- Beci was kind enough to agree to send one so I can compare it with the Ruyan cigars that I did the review on. Phil- The shipping charges are $65? A wee bit steep- anyone know about CTOPay? Never heard of htem before- wonder if there is a charge associated with using htem? Also there is an issue with not beign able to pay with paypal? Not sure how that all works out- 13 British pounds would work out to what in U.S dollars? I'm glad ot hear the tingle and vapor are there Phil- what abotu hte taste? Any htoughts? A little disappointed abotu hte exhaled vapor though- would like a cigar with no exhaled vapor, but great puff vapor.

it looks liek a box of 5 cigars weighs .31 kg, and on hte hsipping on the calculator, it looks like it says $23 for international shipping- which isn't bad at all- I certainly don't mind paying that if that is what it truly is goign to be. This will brign hte total of 5 cigars up to $93, which would make them about $20 apiece- The Ruyans work out to $30 apiece with hte shipping from Heavengifts What has me worried though is that everythign on the check out process has the British pound mark before the price, but htne has a $ sign next ot it as well- I'm not sure if the price is $93 US dollars or $93 British pounds- if it's pounds, then the cigars iwll cost me $170 US which would be almost $40 apiece for hte cigars Last edited by Nazareth; 08-29-2008 at 05:28 PM.

| I mailed Paypal to see if CTOpay was a legitimate partner of theirs (they have a Paypal logo on the site but payment is through CTOpay). The answer was garbled, to say the least, and didn't answer the question. Quote:

Paypal are awful at answering direct questions, they go all around the houses and still don't tell you what you need to know. There must be a search term to put into Google that will give some indication if Ctopay is a spoof site or not. Maybe 'Ctopay problems' or 'Ctopay verification' or something. I'm not good at narrowing search terms but a bit of research should show whether they're a valid company or not.
