Not saying it didn't happen but I've used their liquid for a long time and have never had a problem on 3rd month with 1 atty??? It was prob just a bad atty or it just died - unfortunatly that happens

I've been using JC juice for a couple months now ... zero problems .... aside from a bit slower shipping ... but since I know that ... I just plan ahead ...

    Sorry you lost an atty

JC had terrible problems with their formula killing atomizers by not vapourising cleanly several months ago.

I had 3 901 atomizer die in a week because of it.

I believe this was due to the sediment created by the nicotine extraction from tobacco leaf process. this was several months ago.

new batches are apparently using liquid nicotine with a higher purity , so no sediment.

The old stuff , you could see the sediment in the bottom of the bottles.

I've used JC a lot in the past 3 months and have had no problems. Attys die all on their own just with usage. You didn't give much detail on your usage and why you think the JC juice caused your problem.

You're right. Sorry. I only used it for 3 or 4 hrs and I began getting less and less vapor. Then it just stopped. And I looked at my atomizer and it appears to be clogged

    ApOsTle51,

I have read that thread before. There seems to be no real concensus on whether the JC can be blamed for the issues discussed. Maybe back when that thread was started, sometime last year, they might have been some issues with their product. Of course I only buy their Kona Coffee PG juice which is a new product and may not have the issues the older liquids had.

I'll keep an eye on the JC juice and see if I can detect the stated problems. I do use juice from other sources as well so I should be able to detect a difference. I'll keep an open mind on this.

I have been using JC original and tennesee cured VG based juices since some time in April with no noticeable problems. There are many factors that can contribute to the deterioration of an atomizer besides the juice. There are also things that can be done to help 'renew' the performance of an atomizer.

How do you see your atomizer being clogged? Do you mean there is a deposit building up on the atomizer? That can be burned off. Do you mean it is harder to suck through? That can be blown out. Is your atomizer flooded? That causes reduced vapor. Are you dripping directly on the atoomizer? How many drop do you use? What kind of atomizer is it?

The more information you provide, the better the information will be in your replies. If you are providing virtually no information I would be cautios with any replies you get since it might not apply to your situation.

For instance if you are using a small atomizer like a 901 I would not suggest using any more than 2 drops per dripping. If you are using an 801 atomizer you can put in 3 or even 4 drops.

Another example would be if you are using an automatic switch device you probably will need to use some kind of cleaning fluid to clean an atomizer but if you are using a manually switched device you can burn off deposits and don't need to do any soaking.

In my experience whenever you switch to jc juice or any juice for that matter you should get a fresh cart and clean your atty. it took me 3 atty's to figure this out but certain liquids produce a gumming affect when mixed together and heated since then I have always cleaned everything before switching and have not had any problems.
