Default How does the nic enter the bloodstream?

Sometimes I wonder if it does at all... But is it traveling through the lungs like a cigarette or is it actually transdermal? I can never feel it in the lungs, but then again it isn't smoke.

Someone posted earlier that it's mostly absorbed in the mucous membranes of your mouth..

The nic is being absorbed through the lungs. Nicotine absorbed through the skin takes about 5-10 minutes to reach the brain. Through the lungs about 2 secs. This is the reason the e-cig is much more effective at curbing the desire for anlogs than nicorette etc.
