Good job BigJim. The thing that used to make me feel guilty when I smoked analogs was just looking at the used filter. Take one drag and see how brown the filter gets. Every time I finished an analog I'd look at how brown the filter got and think to myself "look what I doing to my lungs". Then an hour later I'd do the same thing. Man, I'm glad I quit.

Houdini--Have you ever done your masterful "Glass Trick"---just take a drinking glass and vape into it for a while and see what, if anythink you find in the glass? I can tell you it is not much of anything. Those nice white filters that turned brown on analogs aways scared the yeck out of me as well and the film on my inside car window and computer screen was nasty. Do not think I have really cleaned either since I have been vaping-------Sun

You think that's bad? Try these - Pull out the air conditioner filter and see how yellow it is - If you have white drop ceilings, notice how yellow it is - If you have a room air filter system, take out the filter. Nice and yellow. - Were your walls white when you moved in? Look at them now. And you're nailing your lungs full force with it. Most landlords nowadays will not even take a smoker in, because of the property damage smoke can cause. Never mind the second hand smoke or the damage you do to the lungs, just in property damage alone because of the yellowing and the greasy feeling you leave when smoking analogs, not to mention the potential of burning down the house. Since I started to vape over a month ago, I took some steps to clean the room, but it still has that lingering smoke smell.I don't think I will ever rid of it, but it will always remind me what it must have been like in my lungs. |

Thank you so much BigJim, im very close to being a month analog free now with no desire to smoke a cigarette whatsoever. Your video is a good reinforcement, although only minimally, as ive already experienced so many of the incredible things not smoking gives to one that stops smoking. It will help all those who are thinking about making the leap to e-cigs, and make some that have think twice about going back |

Interesting now that if you do a Google Videos search for "e-cig toxins", my video is top in the list. Same results searching the web for "electronic cigarette toxins", my video is second in a web search. I hope more people see it. It really brings home what you pump into your lungs.

Very interesting video, BigJim. I've been vaping for 5 months now, and the sense (and smell!) of wellbeing alone from not smoking analogs speaks volumes by itself. Something that would be interesting though, is to do the experiment with a micron filter. Not only would that show the gunk from analogs even more, but it would be an even more thorough test of the e-cigarette vapor. |

great video, i shudder to think of all that brown gunk i've been putting in my lungs. fortunately our lungs clear themselves up over time, although it will take many years.
