I think the operative word here is "evidence". We all know the e-cig is not scientifically proven as effective or safe and i've heard the word "guinea pig" on here more than a few times! I suspect that a government organisation will be covering their proverbial back sides and pointing out that there is no evidence so that it doesn't come back to bite them... I guess we'll all have to decide if we're willing to take the risk! |

I don't think there is any way they could be marketed as a quitting method. They are a brilliant replacment, and we hope a safer alternative to tobacco. |

nobody said it HAS to be safe- for crying out loud- the patches and nic gum certainly are not safe- yet htye have full FDA approval
