    Default Yellow Teeth?

After many years of smoking my teeth have a rather weathered look to them. It's kind of late in the day for me to start going to the dentist to get them whitened and besides, I have other priorities for my dollars. I was just wondering if anyone had noticed a difference in their teeth. Will the nic vape add further yellowing? Not really worried about it but just curious.

I doubt they would. I'm pretty sure that the yellowing comes from the tar etc.

FYI - Rob (aka halopunker) owner of altsmoke is my son and I will plug his business whenever I can! I am in no way affiliated with his company other than being his mom. I also buy from other vendors and try to be fair in all my recommendations.

That doesn't make sense. After years of smoking your teeth get brown, black stains and build up that has to be scraped off... even under the gums! Painfull! I still get some staining from coffee but it is minimal. I can't wait for my next cleaning appointment! My DA will be thrilled. A definate advantage to e-cigs!

yeah the yellow is from you smoking cigarettes and the tar buildup. I would see a dentist and begin the healthy life!

Thanks for the advice. I probably should see a dentist. It's been over a year since my last cleaning. It's one of those "let sleeping dogs lie" things since they aren't bothering me. Believe me, I've had my share of gum cleaning, etc. No fun. Like I said I was just curious. Now that I'm not smoking (well, maybe one or 2 a month) once they get cleaned maybe they'll stay that way for awhile! Dental insurance is the pits, tho.

Ohhh, great threads, thanks everyone! I always promised myself after I quit smoking I'd look into whitening my teeth. Now it won't cost me much. :-)

If anything, my teeth have whitened since I stopped smoking analogs and took up vaping. (I vape 18mg+)
