Thanks Sun, bless your heart, I think you just care too much and want to help. I'm going to look at that dorm fridge again and see if I can lower it even further. One good thing I've noticed is I've got it so low the top little freezer section doesn't freeze anything and all the ice that was in it is gone. So perhaps I'm headed in the right direction and just keeping it slightly cool, as if it were in a home with the air conditioning set really high.
I just feel really strong that you are telling us a truth that happened to you and there is no way you want that to happen to any of us. Thank you for that!

Thanks Sharon. I know there are other "old timers' here and really wish they would post about e-liquid they have had just laying around in the house that they also did not like and state whether it is still good.
I think you are on the right road Sharon, with going cool but not cold with your little Fridge. So good luck and by Christmas time maybe you can give us an update.
Thanks again.

I did have some 6 month old juice at room temp that was fine.
I have juice in fridge for 3 months that's fine also.
I wonder if Sun's failed juice was subjected to fluctuating temps, failed light switch, signs of mold in fridge or any other anomaly?
Is it possible the four failed juices were subjected to an atmospheric contaminate in which the good juices were not subjected?
Wonder if the liquid was stored inside a box to minimize temp fluctuations.
Wish I knew more details.
Hmmm.....

There's all kinds of variables, I can only attest to my freezers conditions. It's a deep freeze with a fast freeze option. It's at my parents, they are anal about it being in pristine condition as they store garden vegetables and such in there. It's only opened on average once a month. Relatively no temperature fluctuation or foreign contaminants. I would not stick juice in my freezer at home. It's always open and shut (god knows what's growing in that thing) The deep freeze i use is as close as you can get to commercial quality without being commercial. Keep in mind it has kept garden grown food good for 5+ years with no degrade in quality. I do believe however that the act of putting pg in a deep freeze is free of problems. The problem would be the incorporation of the flavorings and nicotine and the actions of any foreign contaminants that might be unique to your situation. Pg can reach very high and low temperatures and neither boil or freeze. Most of the time anything suspended in it will adhere to the properties of the pg itself. As far as flavorings and such, they are food products and subject to temperature change. Just like how you should not thaw and then refreeze raw meat. You can move to warmer temperatures but never backtrack (after an initial freeze). I would feel that in my case I would be fine as long as I only unfreeze what I am going to use and never refreeze.
Of course I obviously can't be sure about my deep freeze success until sometime next year. I guess i'll stick some more in for the long haul (in the name of science of course). I guess a bottle from JC, MV, and Lightinthebox (5ml vials). Just remind me to unfreeze them when the times up (of course if a juice shortage ensues I'll have to use them..lol). Of course my juice remaining good would only indicate it is a viable alternative under near perfect circumstances.

I will give you all the details you would like--the Fridge in question is a new stanless steal 30 side by side ( it is huge). There was about as much chance of mold being in there as the hell freezing over. And the light is just like any other light in any fridge.
You see part of the problem here is that very few of us where doing stockpiling a long time ago. I was one of them. Many are new to the game--not to vaping, rather to stockpiling. So after 6 months of storing e-liquid or longer---then the reports may come in.
Again I will state that I contend that opening and closing the Fridge door caused condensation as with anything else stored in the Fridge and the moisture killed the e-liquid.

I'm right there with you. I've got a metric crap-ton of juice I don't even like but I still keep buying. Oh, and btw, I keep it all in a dark closet in a safe so no one can steal it from me.

I am trying to get to strictly unflavored juice that will be kept in the glass bottles I bought. I'll find something to flavor it with until I get back down to zero nic. lol

LOL--Angl--I know the feeling. I have bottles all over the place of flavors that do not make the grade or are just to sweet or too weak. Finding the Holy Grail for me has been difficult to sat the least. But all these flavors that I do not like, I may learn to like real quick if the ban hammer comes down. --LOL
