    Personal Opinion:
"Cig looking" ecigs shouldn't be sold period. I have a little saying, if you see a commercial for it or hear it over the radio, don't buy it.

As far as the ego, I don't consider that a "cig-looking" device, but the ones that light up at the end. Think eGo's should be the minimum for an entry level vaper, anything "lower quality" than that should be considered a waste of money.

i still use my V4L kit and am totally happy with it. so no they aren't just for "entry level" vapers. it all depends on what YOU want/need. i have an eGo and only use it with an atty for trying new flavors instead of wasting a good carto on something I don't like. but as i said that's the only time i use the eGo.

I would say that those who stay with the mini battery models are primarilly light and/or social smokers and those you have no clue there are other options available. And those who put a high priority on what others think of them.

hmmmm, I was a 2+ pad smoker for over 35 years. and of course being here I am aware of what else is available. and I am an old woman and I honestly don't care at all what anyone thinks of me!
    1. drink more water and get backups for your backups!
    2. careful! vaping may turn you into a shopaholic and hoarder!

There are exceptions in every situation. Glad it works for you. I've talked to so many people and read so many posts from those who moved up to a better battery PV and they almost without execption stated it provided a much better vaping experience. On the other side of the coin, I personally know 10 people who tried a mini battery PV, found they were too weak and inconsistent and went back to smoking. In giving advice, I would rather error on the side of providing the new person more and not less, in the area of performance.

I don't think people use cig-sized units just because of what others might think. I notice I hold my 510 differently than I do my Ego, I vape manuals differently than automatics, etc. Different devices for different circumstances.

Thank you all for the advice. I've been reluctant to move to any of the fat batteries because of the look.
I'm too old to want to stand out. The other issue I've had is the simplicity and convenience of the KR808 cartomizers.
That said, the KR808 equipment hasn't broken me completely from cigs. It's cut my smoking more than half of what it was, but reading here about the devices having hotter, thicker and more vapor might be the answer to get me off cigs completely. I think I found a compromise and today I placed an order for an SD Keyring and a box of low resistance 510 catomizers. The SD is so small it will be easy to not stand out with it. I'll report back how it goes with the device.

I stuck with it for a whole week before upgrading . I have no problem taking my Inferno (roughly the size of a Sharpie) out in public, but I use my Lavatube when I'm home so far.

My Brother came home all excited about his white little ecig. Hasnt touched it since, vaped it all the way home and that nite and thats it. Its sitting in his drawer, along with some ego t's, and a woodville. He's back to smoking, I've tried everything but he is one of the ones that just isnt 'biting'.
I nabbed the woodville and told him i'd keep it for him, because he's nuts to just keep it in his drawer. He told me to sell it for him, but I cant give up on him just yet.

I even showed him my new provari mini with blue led, and my lavatube, ..nothing...just a 'ooh or thats nice', but didnt even want to try either. sigh.

I'm in my mid 50's and I've been smoking since I was 14. Damn tough habit to kick.
To be perfectly honest, before I found vaping, I had never even considered quitting smoking.
Unfortunately I do enjoy it. Even if I end up staying with my KR808 stuff, I'm still going to keep at trying.
Logic tells me its crazy to smoke, yet I still do..... damn cigarettes.
