$100 for 30ml is what I said to my wife when I logged in tonight and saw all this FDA silliness, wouldn't surprise me at all. That's still cheaper than what I used to spend smoking, but what drives me crazy about this is: What do they think I'm going to do with the money I save by vaping, shred it? Of course not, I'm going to spend it on something else, or God forbid, PUT IT IN THE BANK, or invest it in something, all of which they're going to tax anyhow.

So why does it matter? I've long suspected that the puritan foundation upon which that thing we like to call "American culture" was founded is still alive and kicking and there's a fundamental hatred of people having fun for its own sake. It crosses political and ideological lines, it's native to the US and now it's managed to all but paralyze Europe.

You are joking right? Senators listen to lobbyists with money not the little folk who are their constituency.

Its not the puritans that don't want us to have fun... Its the intellectual elitists that believe its their duty to protect us from ourselves...

Amen, brother. That was my point entirely. Even these "Revolutionists" are falling for the game. There's no helping this situation without force, and I'm not willing to force it alone. If it comes down to it, I'll just leave. I'm a patriot, and it's my patriotism that would have me leaving ashamed of what my country has become, not ashamed of myself for leaving it.

Although we saw it coming, I just am shocked, didn't think it would happen like this. It's one thing to regulate, tax, but to manipulate the public and ultimately ban is horrible. I've got a group of friends who are just waiting for me to give them the full demo of E-cigs before they buy, and now I'm thinking some of them won't want to deal with such a fight. Why would anyone want to get involved with the E-cig with such confusion and problems that come with it. Even if they like it and want to buy, sounds like there will be issues. I now am beginning to regret unfortunately promoting this site to possible newbies, cause I know as soon as they start reading on, they will be convinced it's not worth buying in to it. The 100.00 buy-in for the full setup with e-liquid would be looked at like an unrealistic toy, not a true necessity. I'm full in now and could care less about regular cigs, I'd rather brew my own e-liquid and or go to Tijuana, or the local dark drug selling park, than smoke regulars again. There's a lot of us, but just not enough yet. It just began to spread like wildfire, so many people want it that I have met and shared it with and now, I'll be just the rare one with the strange device that people think is not any better than real cigs - what a bunch of crap.
There's still a long way to go and hopefully the companies will regulate their own, test, prove, people will fight the court, get on the news and tell the real story. Maybe it's just what we need to get it across to multi millions more people with the controversy.
I know I for one will make up my own cards and pass them out to all smokers, or people who are curious, telling them what's up - AINT GOING TO STAND FOR THIS ..... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

No offense, but you know what sucks, CartVapr?

You totally will stand for this ......

    It's out of our hands.

But I tell you what. I won't stop supplying until they drag me to prison. Then when I get out, I'll get right back to it.

Well, for one, we will be able to purchase the devices - and or make them ourselves - that's no issue. Can buy the base PG, VG, and make my own extracting from snuff or regular cigs. We should also be able to purchase the liquids with the flavors minus nicotine perhaps? I'm not sure I'd make a brew as fulfulling as the available ones, but would try. Already have extracted from a real cig and it's not too bad, and even tho it might have more chemicals, the delivery is not as harmful as real cigs. So to me - I believe I will find a way around it, so screw them !

Well, maybe I have an overly simplistic view of the situation, but I have a hard time believing that an FDA ban would spell doom. I would probably be a pain in the ass, but not doom.

Last I checked, ephedra is still banned by the FDA, but you can still find diet pills with ephedra at a vitamin shop in the burbs (probably others too, but I only know of the one that my goofball friend shops at). I'm sure you can order diet pills containing ephedra over the internet without a problem. Hell, you can order oxycotin without a problem, and it's a "controlled" substance.

I think that it is mostly the US suppliers who would suffer from an FDA ban. End users would still be able to import supplies from China, Canada, the UK, etc. The US small businesses that we buy from are the ones that I worry about the most. I'm sure that I'll still be able to order the supplies I need.

    Just my $0.02.
